Nars Orgasm Collection for 2019

Hey guys so once again Nars came out with their Orgasm collection for this year (2019). I’ve always been a fan of the Orgasm blush (it’s the first blush I ever hit pan!). And ever since the success of Orgasm, Nars has released a whole Orgasm line, to much success as well!

Ok and let’s take a look at this year’s items! First up is the Endless Orgasm Palette!

This is an all cream highlighter palette. Here’s what the brand has to say about it:

OK I have to say this is something new, and quite rare in the beauty industry. An all cream highlighter palette. We don’t see much of these launches. And I applause Nars for it. Go for something new, not something that sells easily.

However, there is a reason all cream blush palettes are rare - they are quite difficult to use. I mean you will have to be a major makeup addict to want to use these on a daily basis, or a model perhaps. Cream products are harder to use than powder in general, and cream products don’t go well in hot climate.

I have to say if I lived in a cool dry place, this palette would be quite amazing. They swatch really really pretty, and the shades are quite versatile. You can use them on the eyes and lips as well. But since I live in the most humid place on earth, I said bye bye to all cream highlighters.

Take a look at the swatches. They are just amazing. The shades range from champagne to bronze to pinks. A great range of shades in my opinion.

And of course, next is the legendary Orgasm palette, now in a Oversized size!

Yup. Nothing new here. We all know and love the Orgasm blush. And as a lover of this blush, I think this oversized size is such a bargain! It’ll guarantee I’ll probably never hit pan again though (since my blush collection has now expanded to a point it will take another century for me to finish them all).

Next, the Orgasm Liquid Highlighter.

I think this is one of the best items in this collection. The liquid highlighter is very very light. Its lighter than most liquid highlighters that I’ve tried. But i’m not sure if this will be very visible if mixed with foundation. I think its best used alone.

And lastly, the Oil Infused lip Tint.

Start in the center of your upper lip and apply color from the center to the outer edges, following the contours of your mouth. Repeat on lower lip.
To add shine and subtle illuminating effects, apply as a topcoat over other lip colors.

I think this oil is a bit so-so. I’ve tried many lip oils and this one isn’t wow-ing. It’s OK. Like other lip oils. If you like the shimmers, go for it.
