Smashbox Cover Shot Eyeshadow Palette Swatches Part 3: Punked, Golden HOur, SOftlight
Smashbox Covershot palette: Punked
And the final installation of my Smashbox Covershot swatches saga!
Smashbox Covershot palette: Punked
Punked (wearable to rebellious looks): Cause a riot with a mix of cool, grunge-inspired grays, warm mauves, nudes and punched-up purples in vixeny velvets and shimmers. It’s everything you need for a range of wearable-to-rebellious looks.

I personally like the idea of this palette where you can use it for polite looks or punk rock looks. I think its best for beginners though, as the shades here are a staple in a makeup lover’s collection anyways. We (and myself included) probably have these in several of our multiple palettes I’m sure we all own. But if you don’t, then this is a good place to start.

Smashbox Covershot palette: Golden Hour
Next is Golden Hour. Yea I know it doesn’t look that “golden” but I like the shade combination of this palette.
I think this is a palette that can be used for vintage, glamorous looks - therefore the name Golden Hour. I think the shimmers are pretty good in this palette.

Golden Hour (creamy, lit-from-within shades): This palette’s finishes range from matte to sparkle, and the sultry, golden shades are rich and creamy so you can blend and build a custom smolder.

Smashbox Covershot palette: Softlight
And lastly, Softlight! This palette contains all super light shades, which I find to be very interesting.
Smashbox Covershot palette: Softlight
Softlight(soft-focus, wearable shimmers): The ultra-flattering hues include champagne and rosé-inspired colors to highlight the eyes with low-level shimmer for a subtle shine that goes on smoothly for a glowing look.

I think this is one of the most interesting covershot palette. Other palettes tend to be quite basic, but this one isn’t. They are all very light shades that i believe should be used in conjunction with other palettes. Or maybe this could be used on models, or for a very very very natural look.
Nevertheless, I find this palette quite hard to work with. I don’t think this will suit many people. I think its best for professional use.
