Bobbi Brown Crushed Liquid Lip Review
Bobbi Brown Lip Crush now has a sister, the Crushed Liquid Lip! I was so excited when I saw the promo photos of these! I mean the Crush Lip Colors were such a hit and they were of course super lovely. So I was sure these will be bomb as well. Well, they don’t disappoint at all, these are my new go-to natural lip colors on leisurely days!
Here’s the official description:
The look of a liquid lipstick meets the comfortable feel of a balm and the plumped-up sheen of a gloss. Created with a superfruit blend featuring cranberry, blueberry and raspberry extracts, this emollient-rich, full-coverage formula glides on with pure color pigments and offers nourishing comfort and moisture—both instantly and over time.
Swipe on, press your lips together, and use the tip of the wand to perfect the edges.
I really agree with the description that says these lippies feel like a balm, but with a plumped sheen of a gloss. It’s buttery and not sticky at all, really like a balm, but it really does shine like a gloss. I also notice that they leave some stain after a while, and that’s a good thing as well. The stain isn’t that dark, but looks really natural. Overall, I love them!
I got 3 shades Give A Fig (MLBB pink), Haute Cocoa (brownish Nude), and Cool Beats (muted berry). I think they are all super gorgeous.
There are also nude shades as well, however I dont have those, and I dont think they will look good worn along, unless you’re doing a smokey eye or you’re really pale. However, the brand is encouraging mixing the shades to create an ombre effect with the nudes and darks and the result looks amazing!
And here are the closeups of the three shades that I have. I have to say that the applicator is a unique shape that I have not seen before. It’s quite fat, which is good for spreading out the color.
First up, Give a Fig is such a lovely pink that’s not too pale, but just perfect for a healthy pout.
Haute Cocoa might look dark in the tube, but on the lips its the perfect MLBB. It’s a really polite shade, perfect for the office actually.
Cool Beats looks really dark in the tube, but once spread out on the lips it gives a nice fresh flush of color.
And the swatches! See? Haute Cocoa is not dark at all.
And here’s a more closeup shot
Overall, I love these! Do you like them too?
