Smith&Cult Nail polishes!
Smith & Cult Nail Polish
OK I think it’s time I post a full family photo of my Smith & Cult nail polishes. I fell in love with their nail polish (and it was love at first sight too!) for the super chic bottle with the dented metal lid.
Afterwards, I found that the colors are also super pretty, vibrant and so alluring and they shine so bright like a diamond lol.
I also gotta admire the people who work there who came up with the shade names. "Gay Ponies Dancing in the Snow"? Who the hell came up with that? It's genius! I think you can immediately pick out which shade this name belongs to.
Smith & Cult Nail Polish
The brand describes them as “Nail polish that delivers even coverage & brilliant shine in versatile, chip-resistant colors”. Vegan, cruelty-free and 8-free formula. Go easy on the planet, go hard on nail art. Can’t say it any better than that. Nail polish are fun!
How to use them? Not rocket science. After applying your base coat, brush on two to three thin coats of nail lacquer. Three strokes per nail are enough to do the trick. Finish with your top coat.
First off are the two reds, Lovers Creep is a cherry red, and Dark Like Me is a reddish Plum

Next, the blues. Bitter Buddhist is my absolute favourite shade from this company. It's the shade that got me introduced to this brand as well. It's such a gorgeous muted milky minty blue. But muted. So it looks polite and works for the office.
Kings and Thieves is the most perfect royal blue shade I've ever tried. Nothing beats this. Not only is the shade really glamourous, it also SHINES. It's like having navy glass on your nails. LOVE!

Lastly, the oranges. These are newly launched near the end of 2017. TangBang is a bright orange, the kind of color that makes my hand look really clean. Fosse Fingers is a pearlized coral, great for summer!

Oh, and how can you forget the base and top coat?
“Ultra-adherent base coat creates smooth surface for nail polish. Slight pink hue applies clear.”
“Extremely glossy, protective top coat seals in color.”
