Byredo Eyeshadw 5 Colours Palette Review & Swatches
Hello peeps this is my 3rd blog on my Byredo makeup review. Here are links to parts 1 and 2 below. They are on the Colour Sticks and Lipsticks.
This blog will be about the Eyeshadow Palettes! I think the best thing about these palettes are the packaging! They are in a chic oyster-shaped palette that feel heavy and luxe.
Brand’s description: Lightweight and long-lasting with easy to blend textures. The compact encourages the wearer to apply with the fingertips. Intense, pure and radiant, the colours are housed in a distinctive metal ‘raindrop’ compact. Here, there is a notion of the glamorous cosmetic cases of the past, now made for the future.
The first palette I got was Sciomancer - A homage to the musician Yves Tumor. A harmony of deep and dramatically colourful shades with metallic and glitter finishes.
Ok I normally would definitely not use these colours on a daily basis, but I felt like I just had to order this to try. The colour combination is quite difficult to use together, but rather to be used individually (unless you layer the purple with the blue or the green with the yellow). I was curious enough to order this though.
Colours:
Ginger Hussy: iridescent metallic orange
Electric Love: metallic electric purple
Blue Marionette: vibrant sparkling blue
Karma: metallic deep green
Silver Gutter: top coat, black and sliver glitter
And below are the swatches:
OK I think these are OK. Just OK. Nothing special. They are nice enough to make me feel like I did not waste money, but I don’t feel like I needed this palette either. They are fun colours for fancy occasions, but you can easily get these colours elsewhere.

The last shade is basically all glitter. They adhere well, but I needed to use primer.
Next is Sciomancer - Neutral shimmering and matte shades.
Now this palette is one that I would definitely use in daily life. I’m a lover of neutral shade to begin with, so this palette was a no brainer. I liked this palette much more than Sciomancer, since I will get to use it much more often. I really love all the shimmer shades, they have very fine sparkles. The matte middle shade was also buttery.
Colours:
Letterhead: pearly luminous light ivory
Eraser: pearly fresh rosy beige
Pushpin: warm matte red clay
Manila: shimmery dark khaki
Stylo: shimmery dark brown
