Beigic Skincare Review Part 2: Hair & Body Products
Hello and welcome to part 2 of my review of Beigic! Below is the link to part 1.
This post will be all about hair and body products!
OK let’s start with the body products. I got 2 items, the body lotion and the Replenishing Body Oil.
Brand’s description: Replenishing body oil intensely moisturizes and smoothens dry skin.
The lightweight oil-tonic formula absorbs quickly, without leaving a greasy feeling behind.
The preciously blended botanical oils help recharge the skin with essential nutrients, while locking in the moisture.
Green coffee bean oil, enriched with natural caffeine, fatty acids and Vitamin E, visibly firms and tones the skin.
Skin feels more comfortable and incredibly soft. Vegan formula.
Formulated without 5 Negatives
Drying alcohols, synthetic fragrance, dyes, parabens or silicones
1. Every morning and night, apply a little bit on dry skin or wet skin after a shower.
2. Gently massage area that needs moisture or concern spot (stomach, buttock, thigh etc.)
The oil comes in a heavy glass bottle, so this isn’t convenient for travelling. It also feels a little fragile so I need to make sure I don’t let the bottle fall.
I have been using this body oil for several weeks, and I sure love it! I love body oils in general, and this one doesn’t disappoint. its got a soft herbal scent, and the oil doesn’t feel greasy after I apply it (but I do need to wear long sleeves or else everything around me will end up oily).
Next is the Softening Body Lotion.
Brand’s description: Infused with pampering green coffee bean oil and vitamin E, the Body Lotion by BEIGIC is the ultimate indulgent treat for thirsty skin.
This light textured Body Lotion nourishes the skin with squalane and panthenol. Green coffee bean oil and vitamin E pamper the skin, give it a velvety feeling and have a toning effect. The light lotion preserves the moisture balance of the skin and is absorbed quickly.
Made from clean and vegan ingredients with health giving properties, this soothing Body Lotion is quickly absorbed and is gentle enough to be extremely compatible with a vast array of skin types.
The fresh and clear scent of this Body Lotion invigorates the senses and makes the skin feel good.
Intensive hydration and immediate absorption
Rejuvenation and slow aging of the skin
Improved skin tone and texture
Ingredients:
Green coffee bean oil to transform dull, dry skin into the dewy hydrated skin
Vitamin E to nourish and rejuvenate the skin
Squalane and panthenol for improved elasticity, and smooth appearance of the skin
How to use:
Use it immediately after shower after gently towel drying your body.
Whenever you feel your skin is dry, use generous amount of the body lotion and gently massage it until it’s completely absorbed.
I’m in love with this lotion. Seriously. Its lightweight yet feels really moisturizing. I use this right after I shower and its absorbed pretty quickly (I can wear shorts and my skin still doesn’t feel greasy).
I also love the scent! It’s a soft sweet scent mixed with hints of harbal. Feels like I’m in a spa when I use this lotion.
Ok that’s the end of body products.
Next is haircare!
First up is the Damage Repair Treatment Mask
Brand’s description: A hair treatment mask with green coffee bean oil (organic), argan oil and vitamin E that does not only restore damaged hair but also effectively provides nutrients, returning hair its elasticity.
1. Apply a liberal amount to towel-dried hair evenly, concentrating on hair ends.
2. Leave the mask on for 10 to 20 minutes.
3. Rinse well. Use twice a week
It has a herbal scent that makes me feel detoxed and I feel like I’m in a spa! As for the results, I can’t really tell after using it yet. I feel like all haircare in general aren’t that effective, it more depends on genetics or the food you eat. So generally I judge hair masks on how it makes me feel when using them. And I love this mask!
Here’s a closeup of the texture:
And lastly, the Volumizing Shampooing Scrub
Brand’s description: A refreshing scalp exfoliator and a deep-cleaning shampoo enriched with sea salt, mint menthol and green coffee bean extract to deeply cleanse and remove dead skin without causing irritation
1. Completely wet hair with lukewarm water.
2. Take a liberal amount and massage into scalp through the ends.
3. Lather and rinse thoroughly.
Now I have to say that I wasn’t really keen on trying this product at first. I have used Ouai and Abyssian scalp scrubs before and I’m not a fan of shampoo scrubs. But this item was included in a bundle and I thought I’d give it a try.
The texture is a quite harsh. The scrubs are quite big.
I had quite a bad experience with this shampoo scrub. The scrub had a cooling sensation and it happened to get into my eyes, and they sting so bad! One of the worst experiences ever. I couldn’t really get the scrub close to my scalp and it ended working like a normal cooling shampoo.
I should just stick to normal shampoos.
And that’s it! I hope you find this review useful!
