Laura Mercier Opening Night Cheek Palette, Grand Overture Mini Caviar Quartet Review & Swatches
Did some swatches at Sephora the other day and here’s this blogpost: Laura Mercier Opening Night Cheek Palette, Grand Overture Mini Caviar Quartet.
First starting with the mini caviar sticks.
Brand’s description: This extremely versatile cream eyeshadow stick delivers effortless application, intense, buildable color and up to 12-hour wear. Pigment-rich shades in creamy shimmer and matte finishes glide seamlessly onto the lids, staying crease and transfer-resistant. The luxe formulation gives you plenty of time to smudge, blend, line, fill or define, so you can effortlessly create any look.
I’m soooo impressed with the quality of these. The shimmers are very fine and they are so hard to take off lol. It took a fair amount of rubbing with makeup remover to wipe all the shades off. I’m so impressed with the longevity. I think they’re perfect for travel!
Shades: Rosegold, Au Naturel, Intense Moonlight, Magnetic Pink
Next is the Opening Night Cheek Palette
Brand’s description: Inspired by the elegance and ethereal beauty of the ballerina, this trio of blush, bronzer and illuminating highligher lends a natural glow to the face and cheeks, with buildable formulas that glide onto the skin with a beautiful flush of color and shine.
Shades: Matinee, Curtain Call, Audition
To be honest I”’m not that impressed with how this palette performed. I’m not sure if it was a bad tester, but the three pans don’t really show up at all on my arm.
