Today’s my review on the new Sephora Lipstories!
I’ve been waiting for these Lip Stories to launch for ages, and when they did, I bought 6 for myself!
However, in this post I also have swatches of all the shades!
Sephora Lipstories
Sephora Lipstories are a range of 40 lipsticks in 3 different formulas (Cream, matte, Metal). However, where I live there are only 30 shades available, not sure why. These lipsticks are housed in a cardboard packaging, something I’m not a fan of at all. I generally prefer my makeup to have sturdy packaging.
However, Sephora totally makes up for that by designing different illustrations for each lipstick, corresponding with the shade names.

17 Carnival Fun (cream) This is such a bright playful shade! I also believe this shade isn’t available in the US. Can anyone confirm this?

I think the quality of these are pretty darn good for the price they’re selling for. I mean if you disregard the cardboard packaging, I’d say they’re about Kat Von D lipstick level.

I think these are such fun grabs. It’s a great chance to explore new colors you don’t already have in your collection. I mean, you dont normally wear purple or black lipsticks do you? Here’s a chance to buy these and not feel like you wasted your money. Also for those avoilding bright or metallic colors, this is such a good opportunity to try them!
