Wayne Goss The Weightless Veil Blush Palette Review & Swatches
Hey there everyone, this post is so long overdue, but I finally had time to post. It’s on all the Wayne Goss blushes. I decided to get all 4 in a bundle since they’re all very different and the brand claims they work on all skintones.
Brand’s description: The Weightless Veil Blush Palette is Wayne Goss’s secret for a fresh, healthy flush. Choose from two complementary shades of matte blush and radiant highlighter to customize your look—from a soft wash of just-pinched color to a shimmering statement cheek. Formulated with the perfect balance of pigment for effortless blendability, the weightless powder formula glides over skin without emphasizing pores, fine lines, or texture.
First up is Bright Poppy.
Add brightness and warmth to your complexion with bright poppy pink and golden copper that recreate the look of skin warmed by the sun.
“Bright Poppy is designed to mimic freshly picked cherries on all skin tones. If your skin likes brightness, then Bright Poppy is your friend.”
Both shades aver VERY pigmented. I suggest a very light hard when dabbing your brush.
I’d even say this shade is better suited for medium to dark skintones. Being light skinned, I had to be very careful not to overdo it.
Next is Coral Rose
Create a pretty, youthful-looking glow with soft peachy pink and glistening beige champagne.
“Coral Rose is a delicate, sheer veil of color. You can apply it to the hairline and all over to create the effect of sofly flushed skin. It’s prettiness in a palette.”
To be honest, when I hear the shade name “Coral Rose”, I didn’t expect it to be these two colors. I expected to see maybe . . some. . coral? Well the blush shade definitely isn’t coral in my book. It’s more like a very pale pink with a tiny hint of coral . . like. . . very very tiny.
This shade is pretty palr, and is barely visible on my light Asian skintone.
Here’s how Bright Poppy and Coral Rose look next to each other:
Next is Blush Peony.
Blush Peony is a medium petal pink with a cool iridescent pink highlighter that adds instant freshness and radiance to the skin.
“This classic pretty pink looks stunning on all skin tones. It really is effortlessly beautiful.”
I love the blush shade in the Blush Peony palette. A pretty flush that works great for summer. The highlight shade, however, is a bit too holographic for my liking.
And lastly, Vivid Azalea.
Vibrant fuchsia and shimmering white gold illuminate the skin and make your favorite features pop.
“Don’t be frightened by the color—Vivid Azalea is designed to be universally flattering. It just breathes life into the skin.”
With this shade I had to be VERY careful not to overdo it. Literally. The blush shade is very heavy. Be careful when dipping your brush!
