Makeup By Mario Master Crystal Reflector Review & Swatches
So Mario released some new makeup, and I was curious enough to try some of them. He also released other face items as well, but I wasn’t really interested in them. In the end I ordered 2 eye products.
This blog will be on the Master Crystal Reflectors.
Brand’s description: “This exclusive formula creates a spotlight effect on the eyes or face, and illuminates with aquatic, radiant light.” - Mario
Inspired by Mario’s love of crystals, these multi-purpose prismatic highlighters reflect beautifully day and night.
Illuminates eyes and cheeks with a sheer, lightweight finish that looks like a veil of crystal sparkle.
When hit by light, the sparkles reflect and glow.
Can be used on eyes, cheeks, and décolletage—anywhere you want to add luminosity.
Use your fingertips or a brush for seamless application.
Apply over shadows to create a highlight on the eyelids, or press onto bare lids to create a sheer wash of crystal sparkle.
For a more dramatic effect, give it a couple of swirls with your finger, and then build onto the lid. The more you swirl the bigger the impact.
Bronzite shade was complete shattered when it arrived, but I tried to fix it with alcohol. I will use this space to complain that I did not get a refund or a replacement on this broken product. I do not live in the US, so everything I order from the US is forwarded to me by a freight company and therefore Sephora refuses to do anything about this broken item.
Here are the swatches.
In my opinion, I don’t really like them. I generally prefer pigmented shadows, so these aren’t up my alley. They do work as the brand claims, creating a “sheer wash of crystal sparkle”. I find myself using these over other eyeshadows as a topper.
