I know Fenty Skin was released for a while but I only got around to post this review. I’ve been using these for a couple of months now and I can now say I’ve used it enough to post a review.

First of all, lets read the brand story first shall we?

I love the cream gel texture which lathers up when mixed with water. It’s got a sweet scent that's almost good enough to taste (but don’t!). As a cleanser, it does what it’s supposed to do. Cleanses without leaving my skin too dry (but my skin doesn’t feel moisturized after I use it though).

Next is my favourite item from the brand, the Fat Water Pore Refining Toner Serum.

This is my favorite item from this brand so far. It might seem like a simple toner, but it’s much more than that. It has a watery-gel texture that doesn’t feel greasy. and is absorbed into my skin really quickly. I just pour it into my palm and slap it all over my face. The scent is a sweet vanilla scent that doesn’t smell artificial (I’m turned out by some sweet artificial scents).

I really like how its a multi-purpose product. I just use this whenever I can’t think of anything and I know my face will feel plumper, more hydrated and just . . . fresh. Sometimes I use this before I take a nap, or in the morning when I’m in a hurry. It’s amazing on my oily skin.

Next is the Fenty Beauty Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen

This is basically a moisturizer with sunscreen all in one. I love the easy to use, one step, formula. I’m super lazy in the mornings and this product lets me skip a step and saves precious time. However, when I need more sun protection I always use spf 50 or more so this product won’t work on heavy sun exposure.

It’s also refillable which saves money from buying excessive packaging as well as help save the environment.

Lastly is the Instant Reset Overnight Recovery Gel-Cream.
Like other Fenty Skin items, it is also refillable. The container comes with a cap with a placeholder for a spatula.

Our refillable technology is new for everyone! Here’s how to use it: Insert the inner jar by lining up the logo on the refill with the logo on the outer jar. Pop it in and press down ‘til it clicks! Peel off the refill foil. Twist on the lid.

Use on dry, cleansed skin every evening after applying Fat Water.

Get the scoop: Open the flip-top lid for the applicator. Just press down on the right side of the scoop and it will pop out for use!

To remove the refill, just press up from the bottom inner ring to pop it out.

PS: The flip top can be used as a handle to easily twist open and close the jar!

Upon initial application, I loved this gel cream! It has an amazing scent, fruity/sweet almost like candy. It really lifted my mood when I apply it on. The formula is not a watery gel, but I’d describe it as a balm-like gel. It has a certain thickness to the gel. My skin feels really hydrated when I applied this.

However, after using this for a while I noticed that I started to break out really bad, so I had to assume that it was because of the gel cream. Has anyone tried this cream and had problems like I did? I’m really sad that I now have to discontinue using this.
