Peter Thomas Roth Potent C Skincare Range review

Hello guys, today I will be writing about the new skincare range from Peter Thomas Roth. I was invited to the Sephora Spring 19 Press Event and I got to see these launches first hand. Well today I’ll shade what I think.

Starting off with the item that I brought home! The Potent-C Power Serum. Out of all the items in this range, I wanted to try this one the most. And I wasn’t disappointed at all.

OK so I have been trying it for a while, and I really like it. This is one really concentrated formula, with 20% Vitamin C concentration (Sunday Riley Rapid Flash Brightening Serum is 15%). It’s quite pricey, with this little bottle of 30ml costing about 80 USD (2800 THB). But I think it’s worth the investment.

The formula is a milky serum that quite light when applied, but its actually not light at all. Once applied I can feel that it’s actually rich, and the Vitamin C scent is quite obvious. But nothing that turns me off. This smells like other Vitamin C formulas that I have tried.

Overall, I think it’s really great! My skin feels bright (maybe I’m imagining it though? Placebo effect maybe?). But I’m satisfied with I see in the mirrir. And that’s what counts.

Included in this range are 3 more products, the Potent-C Targeted Spot Brightener,

Peter Thomas Roth Potent-C Targeted Spot Brightener, Hydrating Eye Cream, and the Potent-C Bright & Plump Moisturizer.

The Potent C Targeted Spot Brightener is supposed to be for people with problems with discoloration. Since my skin is quite good, I haven’t tried it.

Peter Thomas Roth Potent-C Targeted Spot Brightener

Next, the Eye Cream. I don’t use eye creams on a normal basis (I’m too lazy) and so I passed on this. But I would like to mention that this range focuses on Vitamin C, which is mainly to brighten the skin. If you want to use an anti-aging eye cream, I don’t think this range is for you. This eye cream is for brightening the eye area.

A hydrating eye cream powered by Vitamin C, Vitamin E and Ferulic Acid to help brighten the look of the under eye and reduce the appearance of dark circles, puffiness and crows feet.

Caffeine, Hyaluronic Acid and 3% Phycoderm help improve the look of dark circles, puffiness and crows feet, instantly and over time. Filmexel acts like a second skin to help protect the delicate eye area. Pat around entire eye area, avoiding lids.

And lastly, the Bright & Plump Moisturizer. I really like Peter Thomas moisturizers in general ( I also own the Hungarian Thermal Water Mineral Rich moisturizer and I love it as well), and this one is a great addition to the brand. It has the same scent as the Potent C Serum, and it boasts brightening and anti-aging benefits.
