Kylie Cosmetics Creme Lipstick review and swatches
Hey guys, I know this post is long overdue, but I just received these lippies and I guess it doesn’t hurt to write a review on them. You see, I don’t live in the states, so it’s quite difficult to order from Kylie. Although she does offer international shipping, it’s quite expensive, and the package will probably be stuck at customs and I had to go pay tax to bail it out. So my solution was to order these and have then shipped to a relative who lives in LA. She visits me something like once every two years. And yea, I had to wait 1.5 years to get these. But I’m patient when it comes to waiting for makeup to arrive. We don’t have much choice here in Thailand.
OK so you probably have heard of Kylie’s famous liquid lipsticks. She has expanded her umpire to include bullet lipsticks as well, in both matte and cream formulas. This post are all cream formulas.
Now if you notice from the photos, some of the bullets look out of shape. Why? They melted. Yea you heard that right. They melted onto the side of the tube and ruined the Kylie pattern. Ounch. Oh well I’ll have to live with it.
So Here’s Kylie’s description of these lipsticks: The Kylie Cosmetics Crème Lipstick is a smooth and creamy formula that provides full coverage for an ultra-pigmented lip. The hydrating crème lipstick is available in a range of beautiful, wearable shades and gives a creamy satin finish that gently glides onto the lips. Wear alone or pair with your favorite gloss for a high shine finish.
I actually agree with the description. The formula is very creamy, like very very creamy, almost slippery. The creamy part I like, but I prefer cream formula lipsticks to be a bit more adhesive to my lips. These are so creamy that they still move around after application.
On the longevity, I think they last pretty good considering how they don’t stick to my lips that well. But the best part is the shade selection! I think Kylie did a great job on creating these shades. The nudes are pigmented, and there are so many nudes to choose from. You got the palest nudes to the MLBB shades. I really like those. The pinks and oranges are good too (I mean I only bought nudes, pinks, and oranges so I can’t really comment on darker shades).
Overall I really like them! And I think I made a great decision on choosing my shades. They are all so gorgeous.
I ordered 6 shades, Creme Brulee, Infuation, Puppy Love, Butterscotch, Dulce De Leche, and Sherbet. I actually had to order twice, because Puppy Love and Dulce De Leche were out of stock so fast I couldn’t get them on the first launch. I knew from the promo photos that Puppy Love was going to be a best seller.
OK so let’s start with the closeup photos of each shade. I will divide them into peach tones and pink tones.
First up is the peach tones.
It’s such a shame that Sorbet melted and it ruined the whole Kylie pattern. I am so so sad.
OK next are the pinks.
Seriously, Puppy Love is so so so cute.
And on to the swatches!
This first photo is taken in the shade.
And this is in sunlight.

Just another shot of closeup of the pinks in the sunlight.
