Caudalie Vinopure Skincare Range review

Caudalie Vinopure Skincare Range

Caudalie Vinopure Skincare Range

I was luckily invited to the Sephora Thailand Spring 2019 press event, where I was introduced to the new Vinopure skincare range from Caudalie. This range is based on grape seed, and the packaging is a light green color like grapes. I really like the concept. This range is really great for normal to oily skin types, as it address blemishes and pores and oiliness.

There are 3 items in this range, all designed to work together to enhance the effective ness. Toner, Serum, and the Mattifying Fluid. I got to try all 3 at the press event, but I only received the serum to try at home. Nevertheless, I write about my first impressions of the toner and the fluid.

Vinopure Clear Skin Purifying Toner

This is to be used like a regular toner. What I like about it is the super refreshing grape scent, and the slight cooling sensation when used (maybe I was imagining it?”. I agree with the “improve skin clarity, unclog and tighten pores and clear imperfections, leaving the skin feeling clear and fresh”. Even though I only tried it on my arm, I can tell that it’s so refreshing.

Now is the item that I got to bring home: The Vinopure Serum Infusion.

Let’s first start with the official description:

Ultra-concentrated active ingredients of natural origin, the Vinopure gel serum's exfoliating-effect and unclogging action reduce blemishes and blackheads to help remove excess oil and refine skin texture.

Formulated with the highest concentration of natural salicylic acid, grape seed polyphenols and organic essential oils*, this lightweight yet potent gel serum melts into skin to help visibly reduce blemishes, blackheads and excess oil, tighten pores and smooth skin texture. While the salicylic acid works hard to flush out excess oil and clarify clogged pores, rosewater works to enhance your glow and hydrate skin. The formula is further enriched with antioxidant grape seed polyphenols to protect the skin and prevent the oil inside your pores from oxidizing.

A complex of noncomedogenic essential oils provides antiseptic benefits to calm the skin and keep it clear, leaving it smooth and soft. Powerful yet soothing, this serum is safe for sensitive skin and is recommended for combination to oily skin, as well as those with hormonal breakouts. It may also be used as a spot treatment for problem areas. The skin is purified, leaving it more smooth and luminous.

Its lightweight gel-like texture melts into the skin leaving it refreshed and balanced.

This formula is fragrance-free. The 100% natural scent is derived from the essential oil complex that delivers a light and surprising breath of freshness with each application.

  • Reduces blemishes

  • Refines skin texture

  • Unclogs & tightens pores

  • Activates glow

Apply morning and evening to face. Allow it to penetrate for a minute before applying your cream.
If skin is too dry after application, limit use to once a day. Avoid eye contour.
Tip: Can also be applied directly to individual imperfections as a spot treatment.

Caudalie Vinopure Serum Infusion

As seen from the description, this serum isn’t for dry skin. It reduce blemishes, blackheads , flush out excess oil and clarify clogged pores. This is perfect for oily skin like me, and perfect for summer. When I apply it, its absorbed right away, and my skin feels clean and fresh. Don’t really know how to describe it, ,man I suck at this. Well my skin doesn’t feel dry, but it feels “oil free” because for oily gals you don’t want to start off the day with greasiness, you know what I mean? And I bet that if you use it together with the toner, your skin would feel even more fresh and ready for makeup application.

So here is how it looks once pumped out. Just a slight green tint. I use two pumps for my face. Once applied, theres a slight cooling sensation, which I love!

Overall, this is a great serum to use in the morning, and especially for humid climate where you don’t want to get oily. Skin feels clean and refreshed and pores feel tightened.

Apply morning and evening to face, either by itself or after your serum. Avoid eye contour.

To me, this is like a primer that controls oil, but with added skincare benefits. I have not tried it on my face, so I can’t comment on the application. But I believe it will work well with the toner and the serum.
