Dolce Gabbana Beauty Secret Veil Hydrating Radient Primer 1 pump

I did not purchase this primer but I tried it on my hand at the counter, so my review may be of little help. While I think it is a good primer, I didn’t really see anything special about it except for the super luxurious packaging. And as I don’t usually use a primer I can’t really comment on how this supersedes other primers, to justify the price point. One thing for sure though is the high SPF in this primer so that’s a good thing.

OK and here’s the highlight of hit blog, the Glorious Skin Perfect Luminous Creamy Foundation. OK the name is a little bit too long isn’t it, I thought so too.

So the first thing that I noticed is obviously the super duper luxurious golden packaging. But it’s what’s inside that counts right?

Here’s the brand’s description: A Hybrid skincare-make up formula enriched with the Mediterranean Glow Complex, Gloriouskin illuminates, comforts and hydrates the skin for a healthy radiance that lasts all day. Its weightless, sensual texture comfortably protects the skin from pollution, oxidation and sun damage, offering medium buildable coverage. A nod to the luminous foundation within, Gloriouskin’s packaging features a luxurious design with delicate, ornamental touches of baroque gold decoration.

This foundation was super pricy and I wasn’t going to buy it at first. But then I tried it and holy shite I HAVE to buy it.

It had medium coverage, like the brand claims. Don’t let the photo of the swatch below fool you. It is creamy, and slightly paler than my skin, but don’t worry, it blends into my skin amazingly. This feels a bit like applying skincare, some kind of cream, and I had fun blending it on my face. The third half of the video below is the unboxing and swatching of the foundation. Here’s the result after blending. IT TOTALLY DISAPPEARED! Like I was so shocked at how natural it looks. Like seriously, I have blended over 50 foundations on my left hand and this one was the one that made me rethink “wait have I washed the foundation off my hand yet? because I don’t see it anymore?”.

I have also tried it on my face and it looked flawless, very natural, I would even say good for mature skin too. The only drawback is if you needed high coverage, you will need to use a concealer.

So if you had the budget, I will definitely say GO FOR IT!
