Part 4 of my Huxley review are all about sheet masks! But before we get to all that, below are the links to parts 1-3!
I think Huxley makes one of the most unique sheet masks in the industry, and I am obsessed with them.
The reason they stand out as very special masks is because there are two parts to their masks. The actual sheet mask and an extra boost second ingredient. Each sheet mask has two parts to it, and they are all different!
Let’s start with Glow and Brightness

Brand’s description: A brightening sheet mask infused with Prickly Pear Seed Oil that gives skin a bright and radiant glow and protects skin from harmful environmental stress. The separate formulas instantly emulsify when mixed and turn into a milky essence that soothes and improves skin tone.

How to use
Fold over bottom pouch 3 times as indicated and apply pressure until it pops into top pouch. Press onto surface of top pouch evenly until mixture turns milky. Leave sheet mask on for 10-20 minutes. Gently pat remaining essence for maximum absorption.

The HOW TO USE part is very important. You need to fold over the bottom part 3-fold until the pouch pops into the top part. After that, the two ingredients will mix. THEN you put the sheet mask on.
With the Glow and Brightness part, the bottom serum part mixed with the top part of the sheet mask turns into some kind of milky emulsion. Like I was NOT expecting that at all! It’s really unique.

So what I do is after I take out the sheet mask, I wipe up all the emulsion left in the packet and slather it all over my face (so it doesn’t go to waste) and THEN I put the face mask on on top of it. This way I’m utilizing every drop.
When I take off the mask, everything is absorbed into my skin, there was no greasy residue leftover. This makes me feel like my skin absorbed all of the goodness this mask has to offer, and that’s a great feeling. My face is glowing. On a side note, I noticed that the emulsion is similar to the Brightly Ever After Essence (which I reviewed in part 1).

For this mask, you can’t really see a difference when you mixed the bottom milky part with the top from the outside, but when I tear open the packet you will see that the milky part does come into the top part. Again, like the Glow and Brightness mask, I scoop up the remaining residue and smear them on my face before putting the actual mask on, so not to waste anything.
This mask is much more watery than the Glow and Brightness mask, so there might be some water dripping from your chin down to your shirt if you sit upright when the mask is on. To avoid that, I use this mask while I lie down in my bed.
After I take the mask of my skin feels much more hydrated and just . . . fresh. I think It’s a great mask for people with dehydrated skin, or sometimes I use this after I exercise. It just makes me feel like all the water is restored in my skin again.

This oil mask is a great way to put oil on your face for people who do not like oily stuff on their faces (like me for one).
So you squeeze the bottom part and let the oil mix with the upper part, and put the whole mask on your face. I feel like this is a less greasy way of using a face oil because you have the sheet mask on top and so you don’t feel the oiliness.
Prickly pear oil also has its various benefits so I feel great after I use this mask.
