Becca summer 2018 items: Be A Light Palette, Glow Serum, and Crissy Taigen Collab
New Becca goodies launched in the Summer of 2018. I picked up the The Skin Love Glow Essence Serum, Be A Light Palette, and two items from the Crissy Taigen collab, the glow gloss in Beach Nectar and the Glow Body Oil. Love everything!
First up is the item that caught my eye instantly, the Crissy Taigen Glow Body Oil. I’m a sucker for anything shimmery, and this one speaks to me immediately. It also reminds me of Tom Ford Soleil body oil too, and this one is much more affordable.
This one sold out fast too, which I’m quite surprised. It’s a regular body oil, but with tons of golden shimmer and has a sweet scent. But that’s what make it special isn’t it?
Next, also from the Crissy Taigen collab, is the glow gloss in Beach Nectar! There are 3 shades in total, but this one was the only shade with shimmer. To be honest, the promo photos and swatches didn’t appeal to be at all cause they look sheer. However in real life they’re quite pigmented, and the shade I picked up Beach Nectar has such beautibul shimmers too. They’re all MLBB shades, so easy to wear.
Next is the Skin Love Glow Essence Serum. I was lucky to get this during the first launch, as it was such a best seller! It sold out SO fast, and I totally understand why. The texture is amazing, it absorbs quickly (perfect for tropical climate folks), and it leaves a barely there shine.
The pearls are unnoticeable, but they do make a difference. I put some of it on my boyfriend at the store, and he said he liked it, and he’s quite picky when it comes to what goes on his face. I.m seriously considering buying backups of this if it comes back instock.
It comes with a dropper, making it really easy to use.
And last but not least, the Be A Light Palette. These come in 2 shades, and mine is Light. At first when I saw swatches of it online, I thought the powders looked too yellow, but in person they are actually not. The two setting powders are finely milled and create a shade and light perfectly. I especially love the bronzer, and the blush shade is gorgeous as well. I definitely changed my mind when I saw the real palette, its really good
There you go, those are my picks from this collection. Did anyone pick these up?
