Benefit Cheek Parade palette review

Hello! I hope you guys are all enjoying the summer, its so epically boiling hot here in Bangkok.

Today I’m ranting about the Benefit Cheek Parade, a palette with 5 fill sized box’o’powders! It includes 5 powders in Hoola, Hoolalight (new), Galifornia (new), Dandelion, and Rockateur. And the best part? It retails for only the price of 2 powders, so this is such a bargain I totally recommend anyone to get this.

Hoola has always been a best seller, but I always find it a bit too dark. Benefit certainly knows what we pale gals are thinking so here we have the Hoola Light. It a mutes version of Hoola, and barely shows up when I swatched it on my arm. But when I apply it to my face it gives a light tan color, very nice and buildable. No need to worry about applying to much.

Dandelion has always been my holy grail face brightener. I wouldn’t call this a blush at all, as its super light and doesn’t show up on me as a blush. It shows up as a pinkish pressed powder to brighten up my cheeks. And I’m a pale gal, so I don’t think this will show up on darker skin tones (but I could be wrong). I apply this all over my cheeks for a nice glow, then apply another blush on top of it.

Galifornia is Benefit’s new release and I went and got a single box before this palette came out. WHY? WHY did you do this to me? Now I have two Galifornias (anyone wanna buy the single one from me?). I love the pink with gold pearls in the blush, like I love the gold pearls in Nars Orgasm.

Overall, this palette is a must! Especially for those of you who has never tried Benefit powders before (and also for those of you who wants to try the new powders!)
