Westman Atelier Eye Pods Review & Swatches
So I was curious about these eyepods that I decided to order them. They turned out to be much smaller than I expected.
Brand’s description: Luminous eye shadow trio provides soft definition and a sumptuous finish using only the cleanest ingredients. This velvety cream-powder hybrid formulation is designed for comfort, blendability, and rich color payoff. Innovative magnetic pods snap together or apart for easy portability.
No silicones, no parabens, no PEGs, no phthalates, no talc, no synthetic fragrances or pigments. Vegan & no animal testing.
Silky emollients derived from coconut oil and fatty acids replace silicones for luxurious slip and blendability.
Featherweight rice and plant extracts provide a velvety smooth application and molten second skin effect.
Naturally derived pigments, bound together by a unique oil-gel suspension system, create an elastic-cushion sensation and luminous melting finish for flattering wearability.
Gucci Westman : "I love a cream-powder eye shadow formulation that’s easy to control and effortlessly enhances your eyes."
I created each Eye Pod palette with one classic “core” shade that’s a seamless base or smudgy liner; one “accent” shade for an amplified pop of color; and one “highlight” shade to brighten lids and tear ducts.
This clean eye shadow formula has a healthy luminosity to the finish that's super wearable. Sheer it out for a glassy translucent effect or go full on with a warm bronze or deep burgundy lid.
I love the idea of a perfectly edited palette that clicks together and apart: Throw one in your bag and take it with you, or layer all three shades for more intensity.
These are pretty nice. First, I love the packaging. They com in little pods with a twisted cap that clicks together. They are quite small though, so they are pretty to lose.
Below are closeups of each shade:
Because of my long nails, it was really difficult to dip my fingers into the pod to swatch them.
The shades are nice, but nothing really special at all. They are luminous like the brand claims, but to me they’re not worth the high price.
