Wayne Goss The Luxury Cream lipstick Review and Swatches
So finally Wayne Goss came out with makeup! After years of using his brushes, he launches lip products and of course I had to buy them! He came out with lipsticks, lip liners, and glosses. I bought 4 glosses and 4 lipsticks which I will review in 2 blogs.
So this is part 2 of my Waybe Goss review, the Luxury lipsticks. I also bought the High Shine Glosses, and I reviewed them in the link below:
Now to the lipsticks.
Brand’s description: A cream lipstick with a satin finish in a range of effortlessly elegant shades.
The classic cream lipstick, reimagined. Transform your look in a single stroke with the Luxury Cream Lipstick, an essential addition to your lip wardrobe from Wayne Goss. The classic cream formula glides on with a silky texture and leaves lips feeling comfortably hydrated for hours. Choose from a range of effortlessly wearable shades that let your natural lip color peek through for a look that’s uniquely yours.
“What I love about these lipsticks is the pigmentation. Because the shades aren’t opaque, you can move up or down a shade that you might not have been able to use before. Your own lip still shines through!” — Wayne Goss
The cream-to-silk formula slides over lips, hugging every curve for even application with a satin finish—no caking, bleeding, settling into fine lines, or clinging to dry patches.
A special blend of botanical oils, butters, and waxes nourishes delicate skin while adding a decadently plush texture that feels as good as it looks.
Essential, easy-to-wear shades. Choose from a timeless palette of shades handpicked by Wayne. Semi-opaque pigments adapt to your natural lip color for an unfussy, elegant look that’s unique to you.
There are 8 shades in total. I own the ones in bold.
Amaryllis: Medium neutral pink
Camellia: Light beige with warm peach tones
Carnation: Deep balanced mauve
Dahlia: Warm pink peach
Daisy: Classic beige with a touch of pink
Lily: Muted rose pink
Lotus: Deep nude pink with a brown base
Magnolia: Soft petal pink
Orchid: Burnt terracotta with warm undertones
Zinnia: Rich berry with fuchsia and red tones
The lipsticks cone in 8 very easy to wear shades. If money wasn’t a problem, I would have bought all the shades because I knew I can use them everyday.
The formula is very buttery, has a bit of slip, but feels comfortable on my lips. Although I prefer my cream lipsticks to be a bit thicker, I find that these give a very natural look due to their soft colours and light texture. If it wasn’t of the slip I would have given this a 10/10.
Below are closeups of each shade. I did not include Magnolia because the tube was dented.
And the swatches! Seriously all the shades are sooooooo pretty. I’m very tempted to get more (once we can stop wearing masks in public).
That’s the end of my review. Hope it was hopeful!
