Byterry Brightening CC Powder - Immaculate Light, Rose Elixir
It’s been a while since my last blog. I quit my full time job to take a little break and now I’m back blogging! Today’s blog is on the Byterry Brightening CC Powders. I ordered 2 shades : Immaculate Light, Rose Elixir (there are 4 in total,l the other two are Sunny Flash and Apricot Glow). I also have unboxing and swatches video on my Youtube channel.
Brand’s description: The powder version of the iconic Brightening CC Serum, this illuminating powder captures the light and boosts your natural radiance in just one brush stroke. Brightening CC Powder features Optical Glow technology to help blur imperfections, even out the skin tone, intensify skin radiance, neutralise redness and create a flawless finish. Combines skincare benefits of rosehip oil with luxury make up. Skin looks naturally radiant. Easily buildable. Available in 4 shades. Suits every skin tone.
The packaging of these is gorgeous! The powder comes in a rose pattern in a pink compact. These are also good for travel as they are quite light and are a good brightening up powder for patching up during the day.
APPLICATION
Apply on top of your makeup as a finishing touch to create a “lit from within” glow.
Depending on desired results and the type of your skin, this multi-purpose product can be used in a very versatile way.
For all over glowing effect start with applying the product to the contours of the face using BY TERRY All Over Powder Brush and gradually buff into the skin in a circular motion. Layer to enhance the result.
Use Immaculate Light No 1 or Rosy Elixir No 2 to highlight high points of your complexion including cheekbones, brow bone, cupid's bow, down the center and on the tip of your nose, and around your temples.
Contour lighter to medium complexions with Sunny Flash No 4 along the sides of your forehead and temples, below your cheekbones and along your jawline.
I use these as a subtle highlighter. I believe you can use them all over your face but the two shades I got have q lot of glow and shimmer so I mainly use them on my cheeks and/or forehead and chin. I use Immaculate Light on my forehead, and Rose Elixir on my cheeks, then apply blush over them.
I think they are also good for patch ups during the day when you want some extra glow.

And the swatches! See? They’re quite glowy and shimmery so I don’t use them all over my face.
