Starskin Orglamic™ Pink Cactus 2-Step Lip Treatment
Hello everyone, today’s review of the Starskin lip scrub and lip mask set. I received this set from Sephora Thailand, and all opinions are entirely my own.
Brand’s description:
Function: Moisturise, Treatment
Skin Concerns: Dryness, Uneven Skin Texture
Formulation: Cream
Skincare By Age: 20s, 30s, 40s, 50+, Under 20
What it is:
A two-step lip treatment that contains a foaming lip scrub and an overnight mask.
What it does:
The exfoliant and mask work together to deliver the most ultra-nourished and pillow-soft lips ever.
Using the applicator, apply a small dollop of the scrub and massage over the lips.
Add a little water to create a creamy foam.
Rinse with water.
Using the applicator, apply the mask generously to the lips and leave on overnight.
So here’s what I think of the scrub. I hate it. Yea you heard that right. I really hate it. It tastes salty (because it’s obviously salt) so it feels like rubbing sand with seawater on my lips. The result is OK. I mean my lips feel softer than before I used the scrub, but I still don’t want to go through all the salty scrub agiain. Also, if you have any slits on your lips (I always bleed when I play with my dry lip patches), the salt will sting pretty badly. Personally, I prefer sugar scrub because it tastes better and it doesn’t sting.
As for the lip mask, I feel like it’s more of a lip balm than a lip mask, because its quite hard (doesn’t feel like a jelly or even a balm) and feels more like soap. Overall, I don’t really like this mask either since I have used other lip masks and lip balms that are way better. Bottom line is I wouldn’t recommend this set.
