Chantecaille Chantecaille Éclat Brillant highlighter, Éclat Doux powder, Lip Cristal Review and Swatches
Hello peeps in quarantine. This blog is a bit overdue but I guess better late than never. I believe this collection was launched for Christmas, but I just got them. The collection included the 2 powders and 3 shades of glitter lipstick. I only picked up 1 shade, but the others looked gorgeous as well.
OK first up is the Éclat Brillant Highligher.
Brand’s description: An embossed radiant powder that sweeps a strobe of light across the high points of the face for luminous highlighting. The giftable, chic compact comes in a sleek gold pouch and is one-of-a-kind:each compact case features a unique gold flake pattern across the top. Éclat Brillant is packaged in a soft satin gift pouch.
Sweep the Buff and Blur Brush across the textured linen finish and gently smooth onto the high points of the face. May also use the Sculpting Brush to apply.
I have to admit I have way too many highlighter than I can spare, but I still couldn’t resist this compact because it is just so pretty - both the formula and the packaging. The compact is decorated with gold flecks, and the powder itself it s soft golden champagne. Scroll down for swatches.
Next is the Éclat Doux
Brand’s description: Softly blurring and perfecting, this luminous powder-balm is the ideal finishing touch for any look - day or night.A luxe, soft texture that invisibly perfects and mattifies while adding a subtle glow makes it a must-have for every makeup bag. The giftable gold compact features a rose gold inlay and a decorative gold flake pattern. Packaged in a rose gold pouch. Crafted in Italy. Éclat Doux is packaged in a soft satin gift pouch.
Apply with the Buff and Blur Brush to perfect and mattify the skin as a last, finishing step in your makeup application
This is a really lovely powder. I’m even afraid of using it because I don’t want to run out. It really is that nice. It mattifies but at the same time gives a glow. The closest powder to this is in my opinion Hourglass Ethereal light, but this one leans a little more champagne. The powders have very very fine pearls, and looks great on my forehead and nose.

And lastly is the Lip Cristal - Supporting Sheldrick Wildlife Trust
I got the shade Carnelian - A deep, shimmering red
Brand’s description: Dazzling and luminous, this pearl-infused formula amplifies lips with blasts of sparkling color and dimension, giving them a spectacular shimmer finish. The creamy, smooth formula offers silky, buildable color with zero grit or irritation and feels incredibly comfortable on the lips. Packaged in a limited-edition gold-tone case ideal for holiday gifting. Crafted in Italy. In our continued effort to fight climate change, we will plant a tree in Kenya through the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust for each Lip Cristal sold.
How To Use:
•Wear alone and apply directly to the lips. Start in the middle and work the color outward.
•Layer on top of a Lip Sleek or a Brilliant Gloss for a sheer layer of sparkle.
•Pair with Lip Definer for a more precise look.
•Smooth out the natural lip with Lip Keep to help extend wear.
The glitter on the outside surface is just an overspray, so the real color of the lipstick isn’t as glittery. But the formula itself does have fine glitters. The color is slightly sheer but can be build up. It gives my lips a healthy red, not too matte. I think it’s a nice red lipstick to have in your collection, but it’s not entirely too unique.
And that is it everyone! Just another roundup here below.
