KKW Beauty Semi Matte Liquid Lip Bundle Review & Swatches

So KKW beauty came out with a new liquid lip and of course I had to try it. After looking at the shades, I just decided to get the whole bundle because I love all the shades!

Ok moving on to the new lip formula.

This formula is not a liquid lipstick. It’s a liquified cream lipstick that’s lightweight, easy to blend, and leaves a slight tint. They are not transfer proof so they will smudge if you wear them under a mask. However, I have found that dabbing with a tissue helps prevent that.

I prefer to dab them on my lips with the applicator and use my fingers to blend (so they are more sheer). I feel that when applying with the applicator all over my lips the formula will smudge my mask anyways so I keep it minimal. But I look forward to mask-free days when I can wear these in full!

Birthday Suit (beige nude) is very very pale. In the promo photo it almost looks like a concealer. WIll need to be paired with a very dark smokey eye.

Birthday Gift (apricot nude) is is an easier to wear nude because it leans a bit more orange.

Classis Kim (Peach Nude) is the perfect nude shade in my opinion. It has a hint of pink and brown.

Unwrapped (warm rosy nude) is also easy to wear. I would recommend picking either this or Classic Kim. You don’t need both.

Next are 4 darker shades.

HBD (warm rosy cinnamon) is my MLBB shade. My lips look super natural when wearing this. It’s my go to shade.

Birthday Kiss (bright hot pink) may look a bit intimidating, but I have been wearing this shade on a daily basis. Once blended out, it leaves a really cute pinky tint that makes me look super young!

Surprise Party (bright orangey red) to be honest is not that bright ( I mean I would imagine bright meaning neon bright). It’s still easy to wear (I love orange lipsticks). I wear this on vacations when I want my lips to pop.

After Party (intense merlot burgundy) is quite dark (but still wearable). I only dab the inner part of my lips and use my fingers to blend to the outer parts. I also wear this on vacations.
