Sans Ceuticals Balancing Hair Wash & Balancing Hair Hydrant

Hello everyone, today I’m gonna introduce you to a new haircare brand I recently discovered. It’s called Sans Ceutical. This is a brand from New Zealand with focuses on skincare & haircare.

Brand’s story:

The first item that I tried was the Balancing Hair Wash.

Brand’s description: An effective, yet gentle formula that will leave your hair feeling fresh, soft and silky. The core focus of our Balancing series is to soothe scalp dryness and irritation while maintaining healthy hydration for glossy hair.

Cleansing should be a mild and gentle process, protecting the hair without stripping it of its essential elements. All our washes are sulfate-free and crafted from sustainable ingredients.

VITAMIN B5- Possesses exceptional smoothing and shine capabilities. It also has a small molecule, allowing it to penetrate the hair cuticle to provide strength, resistance and volume.

PENTAVITIN ® - A patented complex to provide superior hydration to the hair and scalp. It will also prevent dry scalp, soothe irritation and relieve sensitivity.

VARIED MOLECULAR WEIGHT PROTEINS -Small molecular proteins are able to penetrate the cuticle layer of the hair fibre to build strength and resistance.

SUGAR BEET EXTRACT - A powerful humectant and anti-irritant, sugar beet extract boosts hydration while soothing and calming the scalp.

How to:

For best results, we recommend double cleansing and reducing the amount of times you wash your hair each week.

Lather a small amount between the palms of your hands and apply to wet hair. Massage and leave in for a few minutes, allowing the actives to treat the hair and scalp. Rinse and repeat.

The first cleanse breaks the surface tension of the hair allowing the second to interact with the hair fibre to form a rich lather and perform a more thorough cleanse.

I have used this hair wash for many weeks now, and I love it! The texture of the wash is a watery gel with a very slight scent that I can’t really describe. Whenever I use this wash, I can clearly feel that my scalp is moisturized and it feels weirdly soothing.

Next is the Balancing Hair Hydrant.

SANS SCIENCE:
Healthy hair has a balance of protein, lipids and moisture. When we formulate our Hydratants, we dial up these essential elements to maintain healthy, strong hair.

How to: Before applying, squeeze out excess moisture from wet hair to avoid dilution and boost product performance.

Work Hydratant through mid-lengths and ends to increase penetration. Leave for 30 seconds to restore, then rinse well. To ensure maximum volume, avoid applying Sans [ceuticals] Hydratant to the root area.

I think this is one very special hair conditioner (I will compare this among my other hair conditioners). It’s very creamy and thick, so I feel a bit guilty to use large amounts for my hair, so I add this to the tips of my hair after I use another conditioner. My hair feels less dry and when I rinse I don’t feel much coming out with the water (maybe it has been absorbed?).
