Huda Beauty Easy Bake Powder: Baking Powder swatches
Huda Beauty Baking Powders! I’m not an expert on baking (since I rarely do it). But I thought i’d do swatches for those who are interested.
Here’s the brand’s description: Huda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Powders are inspired by Huda’s strong belief that the technique of baking is a key step to a flawless finish while ensuring long-lasting, meltproof makeup.
Easy Bake is easy to use due to its unique powder net which disperses a controlled amount of powder, and by following Huda’s step-by-step guide, within a few minutes you’ll brighten and revitalize your under the eye while enhancing the contours of your face.
This extremely light and silky texture blends seamlessly into the skin leaving it matte with a hint of sheen, for a luminous finish that controls shine throughout the day.
Eight shades, packed with ultra-refined pigments, to ensure the right fit for all skintones. The powders work to subtly color correct and highlight different contours of the face, leaving a translucent veil of color on your skin – so you can bake, without the cake!
How to use
Prep your skin with a moisturizer or primer.
Apply concealer under the eye.
Flip the jar upside down and tap the base twice to release powder:
Apply a generous layer of powder under the eye, T-zone, laugh lines, outer corners of the mouth, and chin.
Let powder bake for 3 to 5 minutes.
Gently dust away excess powder.
Other suggestions for use
Apply a light amount of powder all over your face to remove shine and set any liquid formulas applied.
Use throughout the day to touch up, and control shine without the cake.
I think lovers of baking will like this. However, I don’t think there are enough dark shades.
The lightest shade is Sugar Cookie: Suitable for all fair to tan skin tones. Neutral undertones. Ultra-brightening.
Cupcake Suitable for fair to light skin tones. Pink undertones brighten and disguise under-eye darkness.
And swatches. They are very very white.
Pound Cake Suitable for fair, light, medium and tan skin tones. Golden undertones brighten and disguise under-eye darkness.
Banana Bread Suitable for light, medium and tan skin tones. Golden undertones brighten and disguise under-eye darkness.
You can see here that Pound Cake is still very white.
Blondie Suitable for light, medium and tan skin tones. Golden undertones brighten, while pink undertones disguise under-eye darkness.
Kunafa Suitable for deep tan and rich skin tones. Golden undertones brighten and disguise under-eye darkness.
These shades are more wearable as a setting powder, in my opinion.
Cinnamon Bun Suitable for rich skin tones. Golden undertones brighten and disguise under-eye darkness.
Coffee Cake Suitable for rich skin tones. Golden and red undertones brighten and disguise under-eye darkness.
I think these are the only two shades for dark skin.
And that is it! Hope it was helpful in choosing your shade.
