Tatcha Lip Products: Lip oil, lip balm, lipsticks
This blog will be on all of my favourite Tatcha lip products! Tatcha doesn’t really come out with lip products much, but when they do they do it really well.
The first product here is a limited edition tinted lip oil. Not sure if Tatcha will re-release this, but its one of my favourite lip oils. It’s great for daywear because of the coral tint, so you get healthy-coloured lips.
And it feels amazing on my lips as well. I feel like my chapped lips become less dry. I even use this at night (when i was travelling and don’t have any other lip balms with me).
Next are my two lip balms, tinted and non tinted.
First up is the Beautyberry Camellia Lip Balm
Here’s the brand’s description: This limited-edition lip balm of nourishing Camellia Oil leaves lips soft with a gorgeous berry tint and a hint of 23-karat gold.
For centuries, geisha have been using Camellia Oil to hydrate and protect their skin. Our deeply nourishing Lip Balm marries this beloved botanical with the beautiful Japanese Beautyberry—an elegant plant prized for its rich, glossy purple berries. The Japanese name of this unique fruiting plant, murasaki-shikibu, was inspired by Lady Murasaki, a lady-in-waiting of the 11th century Japanese Imperial Court and the world’s first modern novelist, and is said to honor the dignified beauty of women. The berry’s luminous hue and its representation of grace and intelligence are brought to life in this limited edition jewel.
It appears as a deceptively deep purple in the jar, but when applied lends a gorgeous berry tint that is the perfect, universally flattering wash of color with subtle shine.
It feels very moisturizing, a bit less tacky than the gold spun lip balm, but still giving that healthy shine.
The tint will go with any skintone in my opinion.
Next, my holygrail night lip balm. I wear this balm to bed everyday. It’s amazing how fast my chapped lips become soft lips. I’m not on my second pot. The gold flecks aren’t really visible once on the lips, so you don’t have to worry about that.
Here’s the brand’s description: An intensely hydrating lip balm rich in Camellia Oil that absorbs quickly, leaving lips soft and touchable with a hint of 23-karat golden shimmer.
Rich in Camellia oil, which has been prized in Asia for centuries for its superb ability to help seal in moisture.
Packed with antioxidants and essential fatty acids to help nourish and protect.
23-Karat Gold flakes leave a subtle gleam on lips when crushed.
And lastly a lipstick! The Plum Blossom Silk Lipstick.
Here’s the brand’s description: Plum Blossom Silk Lipstick is our homage to Kyoto craftsmanship. The formula features extracts from Plum Fruit and Silk to richly hydrate the lips. The packaging is a labor of love, born from the traditions that inspire us and rooted in heritage and artistry.
This lipstick leans sheer and has a creamy texture. The hue gives my lips a pinkish healthy tint. I think this shade is best for pale-light skintones.
