Anastasia Beverly Hills Blush Trio review and swatches
Here’s the brand’s description:
Anastasia Beverly Hills Blush Trio is a collection of three full-pigment blush shades in ABH’s finely milled, blendable formula. Each shade provides buildable intensity and a seamless finish.
Use the compact’s 3 shades separately or mix them together to create a variety of looks
The travel-friendly compact includes a large mirror for on-the-go touch-ups
Available in 5 color ranges with multiple finishes
Peachy Love: Blushes in Nectarine (matte dusty peach), Ginger (matte toasted coral), Miami (matte bright peach with gold sparkle)
Cocktail Party: Blushes in Vegas (matte corduroy brown), Scorching (matte vivid hibiscus), Babe (matte flamingo pink)
Here’s what I think: These are really pigmented! Only a soft touch will get a very intense blush. If you like pigmented blushes these are definitely for you! However, Since I usually have a heavy hand, I feel like I always overdo them, so it’s kinda hard for me to work with them.
Second, I feel like the pans are a bit too small and close to one another that my brush always pick up the shade next to it as well.
However, I really like the combination of the shades. Each shade in the palettes compliment each other perfectly. It is also ideal for travel, since you get 3 shades in one compact.
And now the closeups and swatches!
And the swatches!
An even more closer look:
And next are closeups and swatches of Peachy Love!
And the swatches!
And even more closeup swatches!
Since I only own 2 palettes, I decided to do some more swatches at my local Sephora store, so please excuse me for the lighting.
OK first up is Pink Passion: Blushes in Basically (matte orchid pink), Sugar (satin bubblegum pink), Rose (satin petal pink)
Swatches: these all lean pinkish ( duh, it’s called Pink Passion).
Next is Berry Adore: Blushes in Velvet (matte mulberry wine), Exotic (satin sparkling pomegranate), Desert (satin spicy coral)
I really like Berry Adore. I think the palette name describes the shades perfectly. You have the two darker berry shades, but that coral shade adds variety to the two shades perfectly.
And lastly Pool Party: Blushes in Blank (matte blushing oak), Pageant (matte pink with a gold sparkle), Kash (matte apricot peach)
