Infuse My Colour: The holygrail shampoo for coloured hair

I can’t believe it has taken me a whole year to write this blog! Well it makes sense since I never coloured or bleached my hair before so I had no point using these shampoos (eventhough I received PR for the Platinum Wash).

Well, great news, now I finally get to use them! Since I’m quite bored lately and was about to quit work, I guess it was OK for me now to bleach my hair and not get weird looks at the office.

I went for a Dusty Rose Color, here’s how it looks in the picture above, and I’ve been using Infused My Colour to care for me now coloured hair.

How to use Infuse My Colour™ Shampoo – Apply a generous quantity of Infuse My Colour Shampoo double the quantity of your normal shampoo. Apply infuse my colour shampoo evenly and shampoo like a pro! Rinse and repeat the shampoo procedure, consecutive applications will add more tone to the hair, remember that infuse my colour shampoo is instant no need to wait. Once you have completed the shampoo ritual follows with Infuse My Colour ™Treat conditioner to comb through and rinse and style as usual.

They actually mean it, apply twice the amount you normally use because it doesn’t lather up as much, and I had to do 2-3 washes to feel like my hair and scalp is completely clean.

Infuse My Colour ™ Quartz Shampoo is a soft dusty pink designed to infuse dusty pink champagne tones to light brown to lightened hair.

Use Quartz on bleached blonde to create soft dusty pinks with a hint of champagne.

OK so I have been using the Quartz shampoo for a while since it matches with my hair color perfectly, and I love the result. My hair is partly bleached, so some parts were still darker than others and the bleached parts absorbed the shampoo more

The pinks are a little brighter and the purples a bit more prominent. It also adds champagne to the brown.

After using the Quarts Shampoo, I started being curious about what if I can even make my hair more red? Isn’t that what the Ruby Shampoo is for right? So I decided to buy on and give it a try and oh my god it is exactly what I was looking for.

Infuse My Colour ™ Ruby Shampoo Maintains brightness of red, red-brown and burgundy coloured hair. Ruby is great on brown coloured hair to enrich and add warmth. Use Ruby on bleached blonde to create striking pinks.

For the Ruby Shampoo, be prepared to have your shower/bath tub soaked in pink. But the color washes off pretty easily just beware the first time haha. The color is really pigmented.

Here’s the result after using Ruby Shampoo twice to wash my hair. The bleached parts of my hair are now very obviously pink, and the rest have a reddish sheen. In Love!

Now I have also seen reviews that said if you mask your hair in the shampoo for half an hour, the color will be even darker.

So I did. I piled it up like a hair mask and left it on for 30 minutes.

And here’s the result. It’s quite shocking. My hair is now obviously VERY pink. I can almost say my whole head is pink. Very impressive. If you have light coloured hair and want to turn pink for a day, this is the shampoo for you!

Lastly, the platinum hair wash. Now this was a PR item that I received but never got to use.

Infuse My Colour ™ Platinum Shampoo Neutralises yellow/gold in bleached and lightened hair. Platinum maintains the brightness of grey, white, pale blonde and highlighted hair creating beautiful platinum icy effects.

What will Platinum turn out on my coloured or bleached hair?

If your hair is coloured a pale yellow Infuse My Colour™ Platinum Shampoo will add platinum tones and cool down the yellow/gold

If your hair is coloured Grey or naturally grey Infuse My Colour™ Platinum Shampoo will add platinum tones to your grey hair.

If your hair is bleached Infuse My Colour™ Platinum Shampoo will add icy platinum tones and neutralize unwanted gold or yellow.

I will definitely try this after my pinks and purples have faded and see if I can turn myself blond.
