I can’t believe I’ve never written about Supergoop before! No idea its taken me this long! IN case you have never heard of Supergoop, it is a brand focused on everything that is sun protection. I have only tried several products, and I love them. They have multiple forms of sunscreens for face and body. And also they work great under makeup. They have also revolutionised how we view sunscreen, and they have made sunscreen much easier to use. I currently use 3 products, the Unseen Sunscreen (best seller), its sister the Smooth&Poreless Mineral Matte Screen, and the newly launched Superscreen Daily Moisturizer.

Before we go on to my actual review of the products. I think its worth reading about this company.

OK let’s start with the newest. The Superscreen.

Here’s the official description:

Meet the one and only moisturizer you’ll ever need… This first-of-its-kind formula provides intense hydration and SPF 40 in one, while protecting your skin from everything it faces on a daily basis - UVA (aging) rays, UVB (burning) rays, blue light, infrared radiation, pollution and more. The formula itself is lightweight, bouncy and wears beautifully under makeup.

Massage a quarter-size amount daily to face and neck as the last step in your skincare routine, after serums and before makeup. Follow with your favorite makeup primer if you want added grip (like Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40 or 100% Mineral Matte Screen SPF 40), or with your go-to foundation or tinted moisturizer (like 100% Mineral CC Cream SPF 35).

The formula is like a face cream, which I really really like. It doesn’t feel like you’re using sunscreen. I mean sunscreens are tacky and greasy and smell bad, but this won’t remind you of any of that. I just use this in place of my morning serum and put makeup on top. It’s moisturizing and protects the sun at the same time.

Once blended, it does leave some greasiness (duh its a sunscreen), but much less than other brands. (Imagine Banana Boat sunscreens . . *shutter*"). I put foundation directly over it, and it does not make my foundation fade any faster. It does not affect my foundation in any way actually. It’s just like using a serum before makeup.

Overall, I love it! Living in Thailand here the UV level during the day is 11! That’s maximum on the UV scale! It’s super essential to wear sunscreen. And the best part is I don’t need to waste time doing two step skincare with a serum then a sunscreen, I just use this all in one. Great multi use product and great for people always in a hurry like me!

Next is the Unseen Sunscreen. This one is the ultimate bestseller.

This is the last step in your morning skincare routine, before makeup or as a face-finisher. Apply a dime sized amount of Unseen Sunscreen after you cleanse and moisturize, and before your makeup if you are planning to wear any.

It indeed is great as a primer! This sunscreen does not feel like a sunscreen at all. It almost feels like you putting on a makeup base. It has no color, so you won’t get that whitish flash like normal sunscreens.

Totally disappeared! No white tint no nothing. It’s super impressive!

And lastly, the Smooth and Poreless 100% Mineral Matte Screen. This one is the Unscreen Sunscreen’s big sister. The formula is nearly the same, but with a beige tint and is 100% mineral and matte!

Supergoop Smooth and Poreless 100% Mineral Matte Screen

Let’s start with the official description: Introducing perfect, poreless skin in a tube... This best-seller is a 100% mineral primer in one translucent formula that blurs pores and mattifies skin. Wear underneath makeup for more coverage during the week, or on its own for less coverage during the weekend - and either way, you can rest assured that you're getting SPF 40 protection. Major bonus points for the fact that butterfly bush extract helps guard your skin from blue light too.
Shake well for 5 to 10 seconds for an air-whipped texture, then apply a dime-sized amount as the last step in your skincare routine. Can be used alone or as a primer under make-up.
Water resistant up to 40 minutes.

As you can see, this one has a beige tint, so it will blend in easier with makeup. I think this is perfect be to be used used as a primer. The texture is almost like Benefit Porefessional (and that one has silicones). It’s also 100% mineral and dries down matte. Perfect for combo-oily skin girls like me!
