Anastasia Beverly Hills Holiday Loose Glitter Kit Review and Swatches
So ABH launched several sets for Black Friday/ Holiday 2019 and this was one of several that I picked up. If you want to see swatches of other sets, click on the links below:
I never use pigments nor loose glitter of any kind, so I thought this would be a good starter set for me, since it can be used on face and eyes.
Here’s the brand’s description: Anastasia Beverly Hills Holiday Loose Glitter Kit is a limited-edition set containing 5 all-new, holiday-themed, full-size shades of Loose Glitter plus a Mini Glitter Adhesive. How to Apply:
Apply Loose Glitter using Mini Glitter Adhesive. Using Mini Glitter Adhesive’s brush applicator, apply a sheer layer directly onto the skin. Then, load a flat synthetic makeup brush with Loose Glitter and quickly press the glitter onto your adhesive application.
Or, disperse small amounts of the loose glitter and the adhesive onto a metal mixing plate or on the back of your hand. Dip your synthetic makeup brush into the adhesive and then into the glitter, creating a paste-like texture. Then, press the glitter directly onto your desired area of application
Pro tips
Layer the glitter on top of your cheek highlighter for added dimension
To create a more intense, all-over body shimmer, mix Loose Glitter with Liquid Glow, then apply.
To create a sheer body shimmer, mix Loose Glitter with Hydrating Oil, then apply.
Be sure to tightly close the cap after use to avoid spillage.
I tried to take the photos in the sun so you can see how they reflect with the light. They’re not entirely good, so apologies for that. Also note that the glitter adhesive has a yellowish base, so that also distorted the real color of the pigments.
And here’s a full photo of all 5 pigments.
