Pixi Glitter-y Eye Quad Review and Swatches - Gold Lava & Rose Bronze
Hello guys, it’s officially glitter season so here’are some palettes to suit that! Here are Pixi Glitter-y Quads.
I was introduced to these during a Pixi event in Bangkok but I was told that they will not be available in Thailand (bummer). I did swatches then and even tried them on my lids. And I loved them so much that I ended up ordering them from Cult Beauty.
Here’s the brand’s description: Marrying affordability with efficacy, Pixi’s skin care solutions have quickly acquired legions of devotees – from top beauty bloggers and editors, to die-hard customers who are totally addicted to their simple-yet-sophisticated range. The latest addition to Pixi’s purse-friendly make up range, the brand new Glitter-y Eye Quad unites four large pans of pigmented glitters in three beguiling colour ways. Pick from, deep mauve ‘RoseBronze’, metallic bright ‘GoldLava’ and cool blue ‘BluePearl’, we’re in turmoil trying to pick between them!
The perfect companion to Pixi’s palettes, these large 4-pan quads unite a range of hypnotic glitter pigments – from deep mauve ‘RoseBronze’, metallic bright ‘GoldLava’ to cool blue ‘BluePearl’. The perfect way of adding a covetable texture and eye-catching shine to any eyeshadow look, swipe this pigment-packed glitter across the centre of your lid or around the tear duct to open and brighten the eye. Easy to use with a brush or your finger, these pans work hard for your approval and will last as long as you do so you can party for as long as you want without having to bring it along with you! Effortlessly remove at the end of the night with Pixi’s super gentle {Hydrating Milky Makeup Remover} or turn that glitter into a eye-catching smokey eye come morning!
Use on bare lids or layer on top of your favourite eye look.
I bought two palettes, Rose Bronze and Gold Lava. You might think these are normal glitters, but they are not! They are not dry in the pan, they come in already with a kind of adhesive so when you dip your fingers in they will stick to your fingers, and then they will stick to your lids. Once they dry down they stay! It was so hard to wash the swatches of, really lol. I have tried wearing it and there were not much fall out.
Take a look at the swatches! And they are quite hard to wash too.
Now after using for a bit, I have come to love Rose Bronze more than Gold Lava, since the shades are more vibrant and fun.
Closeups of each shade:
Dammit these swatches are too pretty to look at!
