Huxley Review part 5: Moroccan Gardener Body Oil, Body Lotion, Essential Mist Sense of Balance
Phew this is the last part of my Huxley review! This last blog will be on the body products and the Face Mist. But before we go on, in case you’ve missed parts 1-4, below are the links!
First we have the Huxley Body Oil Moroccan Gardener
Brand’s description: A lightweight, non-greasy body oil that leaves the skin soft and smooth, sensuously fragranced with the Huxley's refreshing signature scent.
01 Lightweight and fast absorbing
02 Fragrance inspired by Moroccan gardens
03 Nourishes and reinforces skin's natural barrier
Main Ingredients
Green Tea Oil
Sweet Almond Oil
Rosehip Oil
Sunflower Seed Oil
How to use
Apply to slightly damp skin and gently massage into skin.
Tip: Enjoy richer and longer-lasting scent with intense moisturizing effect when using with Huxley's body oil and body lotion.
I was super into body oils for a while and so of course I had to buy this oil. It IS a lightweight oil, like the description says (when compared to other body oils that I have tried), but still not THAT lightweight when compared to a body serum or something.
I was expecting the same signature Huxley scent but man this oil smells a lot more like grass, and the scent was too green for my liking. Which sucks because I really like this oil and it would have been perfect if it were the same Huxley scent. I suspect that the oil ingredients may have altered the original Huxley scent.
Next is the Huxley Body Lotion: Moroccan Gardener
Brand’s description: A body lotion that richly moisturizes and locks in hydration for supple, smooth skin and leaves the skin lightly scented with Huxley's signature scent inspired by Morocco’s exotic garden.
01 Hydrates and helps retain moisture
02 Fragrace inspired by a Moroccan garden oasis
03 Light and refreshing coverage
Main Ingredients
Panthenol
Olive Oil
Black Current Seed Oil
Sage Leaf Extract
How to use
Apply to slightly damp skin. Massage until fully absorbed.
Tip: Enjoy richer and longer-lasting scent with intense moisturizing effect when using with Huxley's body oil and body lotion.
Now this lotion smells like the original Huxley scent! It is really lightweight and refreshing like the brand’s description. I love using it after the shower.
And lastly, the Huxley Essential Mist Sense of Balance
Brand’s description: An ultra-fine, hydrating mist packed with prickly pear flower extract which has effective antioxidant and soothing benefits to refresh and calm irritated skin
01 High content of cactus flower extract hydrates and soothes skin
02 Restores skin’s natural pH balance
03 Instantly soothes and re-energizes skin
Main Ingredients
Peach Flower Extract
Plum Blossom Extract
How to use
Close your eyes and spritz the mist onto the face at a distance of about 30 cm (11.8 inch). For a fine and even mist, quickly and firmly pump the spray. Huxley mists can be easily worked into any skincare routine. It can be used before or after makeup.
I usually use this mist when I want to refresh my face, rather than with my makeup routine. I also like spraying this on my face when I stay home just to feel refreshed and to smell that iconic Huxley scent. The bottle is quite small compared to other face mists, so it’s good for travel too.
So that is it for my Huxley review! I hope you enjoyed all 5 parts!
