Trish McAvoy haul: Light & Lift Face Color Duo, Veil Lip Color in Tuscan Ros & Classic Lip Color in Perfection

Trish McEvoy Light & Lift Face Color Duo

I’m not sure if anyone has heard of this brand. I’m not too familiar with Trish McEvoy myself, but when I visited London, of course I had to pick up some items.

The brand is know for its makeup organizer systems, where you can buy seperate pans and assemble in a book like a personal schedule. I didn’t buy any from that line, because it would need a lot to fill one book. Instead, picked up some items that interested me.

First up is the LIGHT & LIFT FACE COLOR DUO

Brand’s description: A bronzer and highlight duo for individual use or layering. An innovative baked bronzing and highlighting baked powder duo.

Gives instant warmth, illumination, and definition to the face. The soft, weightless formula glides on evenly for a naturally lit-from-within glow.

Place the Champagne tone on areas you wish to highlight and the Bronze where the sun naturally hits your face. Blend both shades together for a multidimensional finish.

Trish McEvoy Light & Lift Face Color Duo - Bronze

This turned out to be one of my favourite bronzers to date - because of its luminosity. I personally prefer glowy bronzers over matte bronzer - and this bronzer is so glowy and natural and even has a bit of shimmer.

The highlighter is finely milled and goes well when used with the bronzer. But I was wowed by the bronzer than by the highlighter, because I already have many similar highlighters to this one.

You can see from the swatches below that both shades are pretty pale, so these are only for fair-light skin. They would barely show up on medium skintones.

I also got two lipsticks from the brand, just for the sake of trying one of each formula.

Trish McEvoy Classic Lip Color - Perfection

First is the Classic Lip Color in shade Perfection (deep pink)

Brand’s description: A creamy, hydrating formula that enhances the look of lip volume. Combines creamy and hydrating color with buildable, high-performance wear. The nourishing formula moisturizes while enhancing the appearance of lip volume. Composed with a peptide-building complex, it will help fortify lips with continued wear.

Trish McEvoy Veil Lip Color in shade Tuscan Rose (medium pink nude).

Brand’s description: A weightless yet richly pigmented lip color with high-performance wear.
Offers highly pigmented long wear with a silky, bare-lip feel.

To be honest I can’t really tell the difference between the two formulas when I wear them. They are creamy and the shades are perfect for everyday wear, but I didn’t think these are a must-have.
