RMs Luminizer X Quad review and swatches

This blog is wayyyyyyy overdue but I finally have it up. Enjoy.

I’ve never been a fan of cream products, cause Bangkok is just so so humid and anything creamy melts and slides off in 30 mins. But lately, Ive decided to give some cream produsts a try, since I work in the office all day. After seeing this brand on Cult Beauty and some nice reviews, I ordered the @rmsbeauty Luminizer X Quad. This is a cream highlighter with 4 shades, Lumimizer X, Luminizer Nude, Champagne Rose, and Champagne Fizz. My first impression was, the packaging is a lot more flimsy than I expected. Just plain white plastic. I expected more at this price. After swatching o my arm, I immediately knew it wasn’t for me. The shades barely showed up on my arm, but the glitter shade was visible. I tried them on my cheeks today, and they were a very subtle highlighter. Best to be applied over foundation on high points of the face, but not to be dusted over with anything else. This is for those of you who like that ultra dewiness to your look. Think Korean models. Dfinitely not for anyone living in a humid place. I had to duct setting powder all over everything I use, and this highlighter disappeared completely beneath the powder. Do not order this if you live in humid places!

If I get to visit someplace colder and dryer, I might give it one more try. But for now, it’s gonna feel quite lonely being left at the bottom of the drawer.
