Gucci beauty haul and reviews

Time to show off the largest haul I ever made for one brand. This is the reason I'm on a no buy ban until November. This haul ripped my wallet and I didn't care. But i'm so proud of this haul, ironic.

Ok lets get going. I've always wanted to go to a Gucci counter for ages, but there's none where I live. I've ordered some online, but I never had the experience of trying and swatching things at the counter. So when in Dubai, you gotta "do" the 'buying".

I had a blast shopping at Bloomingdales (it was empty and the BA could help me 100%). I tried on tons of shades and swatched tons of palette. In the end, i bought so much they decided to give me a Gucci makeup pouch and a Gucci compact mirror.

I know I couldve got them cheaper at the dutyfree but I didnt have time, and my parents hate seeing me buying makeup so I had to use this alone time to buy as much as I can.

Ok on to my haul!

First up is the Gucci Sensuous Deep Matte lipstick in shades 210 Spring Rose and 220 Exposure.

Let me just say, these have officially become my new favourite matte lipstick. This even beats Tom Ford, ok maybe not, I’ll rank them the same then. These are a bit different from Tom Ford, these have a velvet feel, similar to Burberry Velvet matte lipsticks, but somehow the Gucci ones feel even better on my lips.

I have no idea how a lipstick can top Tom Ford and Burberry velvet, but there you go. Absolute must have! There are more shades to choose, the dark reds are GORGEOUSSSS but I had a budget and couldn't buy all. If you get to buy these, dont forget to try the reds!

Next up is the Gucci Luxurious Moisture Rich lipstick in #330 #570 and #580. These are the usual lipstick, creamy, super wearable, and luxe packaging. Theres nothing super special about these, except the fact that I don’t have any of these shades in my collection, so why not get them from Gucci? Packaging is just super luxe, this may actually top Tom Ford on luxe-ness.

I don’t think the formula is wow-ing, but it is good. If you wanna treat yourself to one luxe lipstick, Gucci wont disappoint. There are also red shades that’s super flattering worth checking out. (I didn’t get red cause I got way too many already). Swatches below.

OK I’m now done with the lipsticks.

Gucci Golden Glow bronzer in Oriental Sienna

Next up is the super luxurious Golden Glow Bronzer in shade #Oriental Sienna. There are 4 shades available but I tried on two, and picked the best one. I ended up with the shade in Oriental Sienna whose name already decides it works well with Asian skintones. I'd say all four shades are very flattering, you just need to decide which goes best with your skin.

The compact also comes with a brush, but i’d rather use a normal bronzing brush. This one doesn’t really work.

Below are swatches. As I’ve tanned up a bit, it now is not that much darker than my skin. But I now use it for an all over healthy glow.

I also grabbed this Opulent Volume Mascara in shade Midnight Blue, as its quite a muted dark blue thats not as flashy as some of the ones I already have in my collection. There are two types of mascaras for one color, a volume mascara, and a lengthing mascara. As I'm satisfied with the length of my lashes, I went for the volume one.

Next are the blushes.

I already own the blush in 010 Spring Rose but couldn't resist getting one more since the color is just so nice! So I also picked up Spicy Petal.

Below are the swatches. They really are quite sheer, but can be built up nicely for a natural glow. I really like these. I think these are the second best out of my haul, next from the Deep Matte lipstick.

I knew I had to get this when I saw the promo photos online. I mean that butterfly is beyond beautiful isn’t it?

It looks champagne in the pan, but once swatched, its much lighter than anticipated. Definitely not for dark-deep skin tones. I will wait until I am paler before I can use this. (Or maybe it’s just too pretty to start using haha)

Next up are the eyeshadows. I got two Magnetic Color Shadow Duo in Amaretto and Fume, and a Magnetic Color Shadow Mono eyeshadow in Iconic Gold.

Amaretto has a peach and a purplish brown shade, which works great for everyday colors.

Fume has a lovely Khaki green paired with a dark brownish purple.

No idea why I bought two palettes with so similar shades. Stupid me.

Gucci Magnetic Color Shadow Mono in shade Iconic Gold

I also picked up the Magnetic Color Shadow Mono in shade Iconic Gold. It's an intense gold that leans a bit darker and is perfect for a glamourous look!

It also has the gucci pattern, but I ruined it when I swatches it TT.

I do not think this is a must have at all, we all have this shade in some other palette, and the glitter isn’t that amazing. This is definitely a collector’s item

Also picked up a nail polish. Cost a fortune, but I had to get at least one.
