Welcome to part 2 of my Victoria Beckham Beauty review! If you haven’t seen part 1, check out the link below:

This blog will be on the Lid Lustres.

They are single eyeshadows, but very pigmented and glittery, like pressed pigments. They are housed in a luxurious compact that feels quite heavy, making them feel even more luxurious.

Brand’s description: Lid Lustre adds a layer of life, dimension, and brilliance to your look. Inspired by the healing and protective power of crystals—Victoria surrounds herself with them—each shade is infused with a different crystal for aura-amplifying energy. Striking shades in a wet, pearly finish are tailor-made for buildable, high-shine brilliance.
Luxury performance, clean beauty.

Lid Lustre’s unique soft press powder technology contains over 60% pearlescent pigments. Due to the delicate nature of this formula, we recommend keeping the disc provided on top of the product to protect in between uses.

Ok I have one problem with these shadows. They are not pressed into the compact hard enough. The first day that I tried to use the shade Onyx, all the pigment just fell out of the compact and onto the floor. I tried to scoop it up and rescue it with alcohol but it was too late. Onyx is now a loose pigment in my drawer.

As for the formula, I think these are very different from the Smokey Eye Brick palettes. The palettes are more subtle, everyday palettes while these Lid Lusters are more of a glam, head turning color. The shimmers are very noticeable, so I think thee are best for nights. I prefer to use these alone, over a primer.

Personally, I think these are a bit overpriced. Yes the quality is great and the packaging is so luxe, but you can probably find something similar at a lower price. For these, you are also paying a premium for the brand name.
