Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayon Vault: Swatches of all shades
First of all, I’d like to say this is the only second time ever that I invested in a makeup Vault (the first one was the Hourglass Confession Lipstick vault, link below)
I will only invest in a vault if I really like the formula, and wouldn’t mind multiple shades of the same formula, you know what I mean?
So for me to buy this vault, it means I absolutely love the formula! Currently Bite is only available in the US and Canada, and I’m praying they expand out of North America soon!
Here’s the brand’s description of these lippies
This high-pigment lip crayon features longwearing, water-resistant color with a matte finish that feels hydrating, never drying.
Seal the deal: This longwearing lip crayon delivers rich, high-pigment color that lasts. Its water-resistant, matte finish feels moist, thanks to the ingredient orange peel wax, which seals in hydration. Lips look more supple and smooth, and feel nourished and protected. This creamy crayon is also non-feathering, and combines the ease of liner and lip color in one. And, it features a smart built-in sharpener at the base, so you always have a precise point.
Like all Bite Beauty products, Matte Crème Lip Crayon is handcrafted by Bite in Toronto, and is made with natural and organic ingredients. Experience matte lip color that feels good for you and satisfies with each and every swipe—all day long.
Bite Beauty does not contain parabens, phthalates, or sulfates. Bite is cruelty-free and Leaping Bunny certified.
Tip: There’s a built-in sharpener that’s cleverly hidden in the base of the crayon.
For an additional layer of hydration, apply Agave Lip Balm before Matte Crème Lip Crayon.
Matte Crème Lip Crayon can also act as a beautiful base for lip looks: Layer it under Prismatic Pearl Multistick, or Prismatic Pearl Lip Gloss.
Mix it up: Use the shade Blanc as a lipstick mixer to adjust the tint of your favorite shades
What can I say, I just love Bite lipsticks. Not just these crayons, but all of Bite lip products. They are made from food-grade ingredients so basically, they are edible (I have yet to try though), and they are super safe to use on the lips. And seen in the description above, you can mix between different Bite formulas too. Below are blogposts of my other Bite Lip products, so you can check them out on the links below.
So this vault contains 18 shades, ranging from nudes to reds to purples to berries. I mean, I don’t think I’d get to use the purple or the shocking pink that often, but having them all as a set is just a priceless procession to me.
As for the formula, I super love it. It’s a creamy matte, not matte at all really. Very comfortable to wear. The pencil shape also makes it very easy to apply. There’s also a sharpener hidden at the base, but I find that I don’t need to sharpen it. I mean, why waste the lipstick by sharpening it?
OK Here are all the shades starting with the lighter row. I will divide into sets of 3 shades.
