Hey guys this blog is my rant on the Starskin 2-Step Oil Masks. There are two parts to these masks. First you apply with face oil in the little container in the top right corner. The oil provided is much more than “a few drops”, so I just used only half. And then you put on the face mask like a normal mask. The results are simply amazing!

Starting off with the Nourishing & Brightening Mask.

How To Use

Cleanse face and pat dry.
Tear to separate Step 1 oil capsule.
Break open capsule and massage Camellia Oil on face. Save some for later.
Tear open Step 2 sachet. Remove protective layer and discard.
Apply mask onto face and leave on for 15 min. Remove and discard.
Gently pat in remaining serum. Massage the rest of the oil on the skin. Do not rinse.
Use regularly to replenish dry, dull and lackluster skin, enhance skin barrier protection and achieve a lasting glow.

I really like the feel of the sheet mask. It’s actually made from cloth, so its much softer than other less expensive sheet masks that are made from paper. It feels soft on my skin and adheres better to the shape of my face. At first I was afraid it would slip because of all the oil on my skin,, but it stays put and does not bother me at all.

Seriously, my skin feels soooooo nourished and healthy after I take it off. Like I can really tell the difference its scary.

I also keep the leftover Camilla oil to use with my other sheet masks, you know, cause why not?

Next, the Anti Wrinkle Mask. OK I don’t have problems with aging let, as I’m only 27 now. But I feel like this still benefits me skin.

The mask sheet is exactly the same as the Nourishing Mask, and the Camelia Oil is the same as well. TO be honest, I can’t really tell the difference between the two masks because I don’t really have problems with aging skin. But one thing is for sure. I LOVE THEM!

I think its genius to combine the oil with the face mask. I usually hate face oils (I don’t like oily stuff on my face. My skin alone is oily enough). But I know oils are great for your skin so I try to use them, even if I feel a little disgusted. Now this mask helps me use face oil in a way that isn’t greasy at all! I don’t even feel like I have face oil at all. It’s like using another sheet mask.

After I remove it, my skin feels great. I know the instructions say no need to rinse, but I rinse anyway because the oil feels too greasy to leave on my face.

I really like this oil+ sheet mask idea. However, the price is quite expensive, and it will probably be left for specially occasions only, or during the sale.
