Tomford White Suede Collection 2019

This collection includes 3 fragranced in white/gold packaging. It includes the permanent White Suede perfume, and two discontinued scents, brought back for a limited time, Jasmine musk and musk Pure. It also has 2 coordinating lipsticks in the same name. And lastly, the White Suede Eyeshadow Quad.

First up is Jasmine Musk.

A ROMANTIC, SPICY FLORAL, JASMINE MUSK IS A FAVORITE OF BOTH MEN AND WOMEN, ITS SENSUAL APPEAL DERIVED FROM AN INTOXICATING MIX OF HEADY FLORALS, YLANG YLANG, JASMINE, SMOOTH VANILLA, AND EARTHY PATCHOULI.

I have to admit I was tempted to buy it, but this was priced higher than normal Tom Ford fragrances in the same size, like 50%more expensive, which I don’t know why. I know its limited edition, but I don’t think its a good move for the brand to do this. It’s like ripping off hard core fans who want to collect limited items.

As for the scent, I loved it! I mean I love Ylang Ylang, Patchouli, and mostly Jasmine! But the problem for me was longevity. I sprayed 3 times on my wrist and went to a meeting, and by the time I got to the meeting the scent was like all gone. I don’t know if it reacts weirdly with the chemical on my skin or something, but it completely disappeared. So no, I did not buy it.

Next is Musk Pure. Also a discontinued scent, brought back for a limited time, and priced 50% higher. Grrrrr.

This one is also really nice. It’s a soft floral with hints of fruity-ness, and lots of Musk. It’s not bad, but the price just makes it less collectible.

Tom Ford Lipstick in Jasmine Musk and Musk Pure

Next are the two lipsticks that are named like the two perfumes. Jasmine musk and Musk Pure. The former is a very light pink nude, the latter is a light pink nude, both in the cream formula (my favourite Tom Ford formula!)

P.S. There is also another lipstick called White Suede, but it is not available here because it was too light for the Thai market. So we only got 2 lippies, and these are already pretty light to be honest. Not too many people here will be able to wear it.

Yes I love the cream formula so I tried both on. Below is me wearing Jasmine musk. It is really light. Definitely can’t go around wearing this with minimal makeup. You will need a smoky eye.

Next is Jasmine Musk. Seriously I love this shade and initially I had already made up my mind to buy it.

However, I felt like I already have this shade somewhere my gargantuan Tomford lippie collection, so I looked did swatches of this shade compared to other cream formula shades, and I found that it’s closest to Erogenous and Sable Smoke (I don’t own Sable Smoke though).

Yea it’s quite close to Erogenous as I passed. I really need to save money right now haha.

I think this is a nice palette. I like the two dark shades, and the glitter shade is nice as well (well all Tom Ford glitter shades are great). However, I think I already have these shades in other palettes and so I did not buy it.

However, I did ask the makeup artist to try it on my lids. He was really nice and did two looks for me, one on each lid.

The photo below he used the beige, gray, and the glitter shades. I really love the silvery-gray effect it gave.

The next photo, he used the brown instead of the gray. I loved this side even more! I mean this is the kind of look I always go for on my office days or even on weekends when I can’t think of anything. It looks classy and luxe yet simple.

If you don’t already own these shades in other palattes, I would recommend this Quad. If you are a hard core Tom Ford maniac, then I would still recommend this quad lol.
