Some of my Herbivore Botanicals skincare collection. I’m a fan of their mists and masks!

Let’s start with the face mists.

First up, the Rose Hibiscus Coconut Water.

According to the website : “A truly natural base of organic Coconut Water is infused with naturally humectant Hibiscus Flower Extract and moisture-enhancing Rose Water to refresh and hydrate skin. Formulated for all skin types”

This was my first ever purchase from Herbivore. I was attracted to the rose part, but it turned out that somehow the scent was a bit overwhelming for me, and I used it much less often after I got the After Sun Skin Soothing Aloe mist. Let’s just say I recommend that one more.

Next, the After Sun Skin Soothing Aloe Mist. This is my all time favourite face mist!!

According to the brand, “Skin soothing Aloe combines with a cooling combination of Mint and Lavender to bring natural, moisturizing relief to hot, sun drenched dry skin. Store in refrigerator for extra cooling effect.”

I just love that cooling feeling when I spray on the mist, and that minty scent. Really freshens up my face everytime. It doesn’t dry down slippery like some mists Ive tried too, it just disappears into my skin. I don’t just use this after sports, but I use this after my photo sessions in the sun, and also before I take naps. Makes me feel so relaxed. Too bad it’s not available at my country yet.

Herbivore Botanicals Brighten Instant Glow Mask.

 Brighten Instant Glow Mask.

This is a fruit acid mask to be washed up after 15-20 mins of application.

According to the website, this is “A truly natural radiance mask featuring Rice Powder and Pineapple Enzymes to smooth and brighten skin, plus micronized Brazilian Tourmaline gemstone to give a glowing complexion”

The label says slight tingling is normal, however I didn’t experience any (but I felt some thingling with other products) so I guess this one is calming enough for people with sensitive skin. I also like the fact that it dries down after application and thus I can walk around without having to beware of my flyaway hair getting stuck on my face.

Finally, the Blue Tansy Resurfacing Clarity Mask. This is Herbivore’s version of AHA +BHA mask.

According to the brand, this is “A truly natural mask that gently clarifies acne-prone skin with Fruit Enzymes, White Willow Bark, Aloe, and Blue Tansy Essential Oil to soothe the appearance of redness.”

I think it works as its claim, and I especially like the fact that it dries down after application and thus I can walk around without having to beware of my flyaway hair getting stuck on my face. However, I hate the smell. It’s got some scent I didn’t like. Luckily I got a deluxe sample of this and so I didn’t buy the full tub.
