Bobbi Brown Luxe collections: Camo Luxe, Luxe Matte Lipstick, Highlight&Glow palette.
New Bobbi Brown Luxe collection goodies! (plus the Highlight & Glow Highlighting Powder Duo.
Well I guess I”ll start with this before the Luxe stuff.
The Highlight & Glow Highlighting Powder Duo consists of Bare Glow and Opal Glow highlighting powders. The Bobbi Brown Highlighting powders are all super silky and this palette is just as great. I will never finish this, but it’s a great addition to my collection.
Swatches here. See how pretty it is?
Next is the Camo Luxe collection.
Next is the Camo Luxe Eye & Cheek palette. This was an unpopular product for some reason, because it was on sale during the Christmas holidays lol. I guess it might have something to do with the design of the compact? It’s military green and not that “luxe”
And now I feel like shit having paid the full price. Oh well. I bought it all for the highlight shade, which looks super natural, and I even use it as a bronzer/blush. It’s a bit dark, so I knew it wasn’t for the highs of the face (at least for light skin gals).
The eyeshadows are OK, just like other Bobbi’s shadows, they are base colors and suit an everyday look. I think this palette as a whole screams “natural skin, smokey eye”, which is the look I love!
Next are the Camo Luxe eyeshadow in shade Jungle Shadow and Incandescent. I just loooove the mixed shimmers of purple and green in Jungle!. They are mixed together so well! You can actually see the greens and the purples from the swatches.
And now I have four altogether! They are expensive, but really worth it. The other two are form the original luxe collection. The shades are Poison Ivy and Melting Point
Here are swatches of all four: Jungle, Incandescent, Poison Ivy, Melting Point.
Next is the Mini Highlighting powder in shade Pink Glow. I always love Bobbi’s highlighters, they are super silky and the glow is just too pretty. This shade is no exception! The smaller compact makes this my travel essential highlighter!
Here’s the swatch.
And here’s the swatches compared to Champagne Glow and Opal Glow.
Lastly are the lipsticks! There are 3 luxe formulas. The Liquid Matte, Liquid High Shine, and the Luxe Matte Lip Color. The first two formulas are in a separate blog, which you can find the link below.
OK here’s the review for the Luxe Matte Lip Color in Bitten Peach and Boss Pink. To be honest I wasn’t sure if I needed another matte lipstick formula, and how special is it? Well I puckered up my courage and ordered during Black Friday. Oh my, the formula is great! It is very matte, but doesn’t dry out my lips at all. It is dryer than other Velvet formulas, but looks velvety on my lips. I love how it doesn’t transfer when I eat my breakfast. The two shades I got also brightens up my face, but is muted enough for the office. Love!
That is it! Hope you find something useful here.
