Becca Volcanic Goddess Eye Palette & Glow Glosses swatches

Today I have the new Becca Cosmetics items from the Volcanic Goddess collection launched for Holiday 2019. I got the three Glow Glosses and the Volcanic Eye palette. Enjoy!

Becca Volcanic Goddess Glow Glosses Metamorphic Gold, Molten Mauve, and Ruby Fire

First up are the Glow Glosses in Metamorphic Gold, Molten Mauve, and Ruby Fire are the new shades added in this collection. I originally had 4 shades, and now I have 7 in total!

According to the website, thay are “A lip formula with the shine of a gloss, pigment of a liquid lipstick and nourishing benefits of a balm.”

I think the shine of a gloss and nourishing benefits live up to the description. These are very comfortable to wear and are glossy. However I wouldn’t say they are “pigmented like a liquid lipstick”. Some shades definitely are more opaque than others, but they are still far behind other really pigmented glosses.
I think pigmentation is not the main focus of these lippies, but more on the shininess.

And the swatches :) As you can see they are shimmery and glossy, but not technically pigmented.

Next is the Volcanic Eye Palette. According to the brand, this is “A brand-new, limited-edition eyeshadow palette featuring 12 mesmerizing eyeshadows in three different finishes—Ultra-Matte, Shimmer and Molten Metallic.”

To be honest, this palette passed right by my radar but upon swatching, I fell in love with the darker shimmery shades. The description from the website lives up to the expectation, the shimmers and metallics are superb. I think this is a great versatile palette, that can range from soft natural hues to a more dramatic look. It’s great as a gift and for yourself!
