Zenn Cosmetics: Glossy Lip Color + Highlighter

Another blog on a Thai brand I recently became acquainted with. This is Zenn Cosmetics. I saw this brand on Instagram and was quite interested in their lip glosses, which I saw pretty good reviews. So i decided to review them here, along with their highlighter.

First up is the Glossy Lip Color!

From the founders, “Our lip glosses from this collection adjust to your personality. The cooling high-shine lacquer texture gives you plump healthy look using only one swipe of application. The intense coloration can cover your natural lip color without that sticky, tacky feeling. Its moisturizing property adds a touch of cooling sensation that will never cause you chapped lips”.

I disagree with the official description on the part that it has “intense coloration”. I don’t think it is that pigmented compared to other glosses I’ve tried. It might be a bit misleading that its pigmented so I need to clarify a bit.

This is one very unique formula in my collection: it applies like a gloss and doesn’t dry down, but if its wiped off, it leaves a stain. The gloss itself has a slight cooling sensation that feels super refreshing (just like the brand claims). This is so perfect for a natural look, on weekends and on holidays. All the shades are super easy to wear and give a healthy shine and tine to my lips. They all have very hearty shade names too “Lucky, Meet, You, Oneday, Somewhere, Future”. Bottom line is, I love it!

Zenn Cosmetics Highlighter in shade Victoria Harbour.

The second item is The Highlighter in shade Victoria Harbour.

From the founder, “This Zenn highlighter creates a natural spotlight for a healthy-looking glow. With a lightweight velvet-soft formula that gently hugs your skin reflecting light. It will not accentuate pores, fine lines, or skin texture. Your skin will look hydrated, plump and healthy. Use your favorite small highlighting brush to apply to high points of your favorite features to create a subtle glow from within. Add a couple layers on top for an even more “lit” look without looking cakey”.

I totally agree with the description. Small but powerful. This has a champagne glow which is perfect for travelling in my opinion. I’m very impressed with the quality of Thai brands. They’ve really stepped up their product quality!
