Bobbi Brown Luxe Liquid Lip Velvet Matte & Luxe Liquid Lip High Shine

Hey guys Bobbi Brown just released 2 new formulas, the Luxe Liquid Lip Velvet Matte and the Luxe Liquid Lip High Shine. They come in this super luxurious packaging in gold. The matte formula is in the matte gold lid, while the High shine formula is in the shiny gold lid (which is quite obvious lol).

Here’s the High Shine formula. If you are a fan of opaque, pigmented gloss, these are for you! they are super pigmented, as opaque as a cream lipstick.

According to the brand, these are “A luxuriously comfortable liquid lip formula that delivers ultra-vivid color and a luminous, light-reflective glow”, to which I definitely agree.

I also tried using this formula as a smudged tint. I’m not into bold colored lips lately, so I dab this in the inner parts of my lips and use my fingers to blend to the outer parts. It gives a natural smudged look, but still keeping the bold shade. I got compliments wearing Blood Orchid too!

I got Barely Nude, Tahiti Pink, and Wild Orchid. I wore Barely Nude to work, and it literally felt like I was wearing a cream lipstick. Like, I can name some bullet lipsticks that are less pigmented haha.

Moving on to the mattes. According to the brand, these are “A captivating liquid lip formula, created with powder pigments and Wild Mango Butter, that delivers lush, comfortable wear and vivid matte color for up to 12 hours”' which i also super agree with.

These wear comfortably, and the pigmentation is insane. I also love using this formula as a smudged tint. I got Starlet Scarlet, Pink Shock, and Blood Orange.
