Recently acquired Charlotte Tilbury goodies
I finally have time to post about some of my new Charlotte Tilbury goodies, the magic powder, Lip Bath, and the Transformation eyes palette.
First up is the Lip Bath.
This was advertised as a lip plumper “A clear, high-shine gloss with Marine Collagen for plumper-looking lips!” , and I kinda get that idea. It has that minty sensation, but not as much as I would have liked. (I like really minty stuff). It’s quite similar to Dior Lip Maximizer (but I prefer the Dior one), with the difference being the heart shaped applicator, which is just too cute.
Next, the Magic powder. I have to say i was unimpressed at first, but after using it for a while, I began to see hoe it stands out from all my other loose powders. It has a pearly sheen to it, not glittery, not sparkly, but just pearly. It also leans pink (this is shade 1) which will only suit neutral - rose undertones. Overall it is a really nice powder, great for brightening up my complexion or when I don’t wanna look to shallow or yellowy. I do not regret paying this price at all. However, I still won’t reach for it on a daily basis. I haven’t found anything that beats the Byterry Hyaluronic powder just yet.
Lastly, the Transform Eye palette. I couldn’t get the Bigger-Brighter eyes palette, and decided to make peace with this instead. To be honest, I was disappointed. The mattes are kinda so, so and the shimmers have fallout. Overall it’s way below standard of her permanemt palettes. What does anyone think?
OK here’s a family photo of all my Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow palettes.
