Gino McCray The Professional Makeup Lip Liquids from Beauty Buffet.
Hello peeps to day I’m gonna rant about some liquid lipsticks from Thai brands.
I’ve always been curious why our own country doesn’t have very many hit brands, even though we have many well-known manufacturers. Well that thought is now out of the window because I’ve recently got to try the Beauty Buffet Gino McCray The Professional Makeup Lip Liquid, and the Beauty Cottage Les Debutantes Silky Soft Lip Fix.
If you’ve ever visited Thailand, and shopped in our mall, I’m suite sure you’ve seen these cutely decorated shops. Beauty Buffet is themed as a buffet menu, with chef hats and cute pink deco.
Beauty Cottage is nature themed, like their product ingredients, and has a vintage deco.
As you know, I’m a sucker for pretty packaging, so I’m always pulled towards these stores. Whenever I go shopping, I always have to peer in to see what’s new in their shops, whats on sale, hows the packaging, etc.
I have to say they are as good as the Koreans in terms of cuteness!
Ok on to the products I am reviewing today.
Two sets of matte lips, both are so high quality I am amazed they’re not popular than this!
First up are the Gino McCray The Professional Makeup Lip Liquids sold at Beauty Buffet.
These come in 9 (mostly) bright shades, that is perfect for summer. These are infused with Vitamin E and has a crosspolymer technology that helps the lips stay hydrated. I have tried all the shades, and I gotta say they rock! I even wore them to the office. They last soooooooo long. I put them on at 7, eat lunch at 12, snacks at 3pm, and at 6pm when I get home they’re still there! OK not 100% there, but the color stays and they don’t crack. If you’ve tried some liquid lipsticks, you must have experienced some formulas that crack, and peel off unevenly during the day. These don’t, but gradually smear off and doesn’t leave my lips looking cracked and patchy. LOVE!
Swatches below
Here are the shades,
1. Slay (true red)
2. Photobomb (brownish red)
3. Savage (blackcherry)
4. Grunge (pink)
5. Indy (Fuchsia red)
6. Lit (Peach. Wore this to work and it looked great when paired with a peachy cheek color!)
7. Hunty (Orenge Red)
8. Stain (nude, wore this one to work last week and it’s such a classic MLBB nude color!)
9. Ship (nude brown)
I gotta say I might be a little biased cause they’re made in Thailand, and I want to support products form my country. But they really are very high quality and and very affordable. I’m sure they’re made in the same factory as some other high end brands (cause we do a lot of OEMs here).
Next time you pass by a Beauty Buffet shop, don’t forget to drop by!
I will put off the review for Beauty Cottage for the next post, cause its getting lengthy now haha.
Stay tuned!
