Bobbi Brown Extra Lip Tint Review and swatches
Hello everyone this nlog is all about one of my all time favourite lip balms, or lip tints, the Bobbi Brown Extra Lip Tint. These are basically tinted lip balms where some shade also enhance or change the colour of your natural lip colours. I wear these on days where I want a natural look with light makeup and also when I want to nourish my lips.
Once I was asked by a friend “"what’s your favourite lip conditioner?” and my immediate answer was “bobbi brown”. These are obviously not lip conditioners but to me they are “day time conditioners” that also function as makeup. Bottom line is these are one of my all time favourite lip balm/tints.
Brand’s description: Lightweight, sheer and ultra-moisturizing, this formula has all the benefits of your go-to balm plus a color-enhancing tint that brings out the best in lips.
A nourishing blend of Olive, Avocado and Jojoba Oils smooths and softens lips instantly and over time, reducing the look of fine lines while delivering a healthier, plumped-up look.
Paraben-free; phthalate-free; sulfate-free; sulfite-free; gluten-free
This indulgent, spa-like treatment can be worn alone for a sheer wash of color or layered with your favorite lip color for a glowing, cushioned finish. Apply to bare lips directly from tube.
This Spring 2020 the brand decided to come out with a special limited edition Pink packaging with 2 new shades! The pink packaging is super cute, and the two shades are gorgeous as well. But in my opinion, you don’t need all because they are translucent and your natural lip color will show anyways.
BARE MELON - A pink peachy tint.
BARE PUNCH - A bright yellow pink tint.
BARE RASPBERRY - A rose tint that works with the natural lip tone to enhance and create a rosy tint.
I also own two other shades in the normal white tubes which are Pare Pink Sparkle and Bare Popsicle. I actually also own Bare Melon in the normal packaging as well but I’m not including the photo here.
And below are the swatches!
Of all the shades, Bare Pink Sparkle was the only one with shimmers, the rest are all clear.
I also noticed that Bare Popsicle (2019) and Bare Punch (2020) are very similar.
