Jeffree Star Cosmetics The gloss Glitter Fantasy

So during Black Friday I went completely nuts and ordered every set/bundle that were available, these included. I guess when i buy if not now right? I have not tried any of Jeffree’s glosses before this and so I though getting a bundle would be worth it. I chose the Glitter bundle from beautylish because I’m into glitters and I feel like Jeffree’s glosses would be best in the glitter formula.

This set includes 12 shades (there are 18 shades in total)

There you have it. I chose the glitter fantasy finish, so I can’t really comment on the extreme shine formula.

First thing that I would like to comment on these glosses is on the packaging! Kudos for him to come out with such playful and creative tube. The lid is shaped like a dome and the whole thing looks like some kind of wand (at least to me). It’s quite heavy (much heavier than normal lipglosses) so it kinda prevents me from wanting to bring it in my purse.

I have tried all the shades, and my review is these are best used as lip toppers, rather to be worn alone. Each shade has quite a sheer base color, but the highlight is at the shimmers. Now, just using the shimmers on my bare lips didn’t seem pretty at all (for example some shades had blue/green shimmer and that didnt go well on my bare lips). I prefer to use them on top of a matte lipstick or a cream lipstick to add dimension. However, if you like just plain shimmers on lips, go bare.

The formula is a bit sticky (does not feel like a balm) and the finish is shiny. It stayed for quite a long time (compared to other of my lipglosses) so that’s agreat thing. Those glitter actually stayed even after I had a meal.
